The weekend just gone has single handedly been one of the best weekends i’ve had in a long time. Yes, it was Slamdunk Festival.
After doing two dates in both 2013 and 2014 this year was no difference and I made my way back up north for the Leeds leg, followed by the south date the next day. I had an amazing weekend with some amazing people, saw some fantastic live music, drank more than I probably should have and made some memories which i’ll cherish.
Some of my musical highlights of the weekend were hearing The Wild Life’s cover of Bring Me The Horizons ‘Sleepwalking’, the crowd going completely mental to Crossfaith, the teenage nostalgia I always get when listening to Finch and every single thing about the Bury Tomorrow set.
Some of my band reviews will be going live on www.mosh.hitthefloor.com over the next few days but until then here is a playlist including tracks from some of the awesome bands which I saw over the weekend.
Sounds like you had a really good time!
I love that Taking Back Sunday song – reminds me of my teenage years 🙂

Taking back sunday were a fantastic highlight from the festival! x
This looks fab. Despite it being on my doorstep (I'm near Leeds) I'd never heard of SlamDunk festival. I'll be looking into this for next year, thanks for this useful post!
Oh it was fantastic, and I do prefer the Leeds one to the London show. You should check it out next year! x
I have never been to a festival before, always wondered how it is xx
Slamdunk is a great one to start with as there is no camping, and that's usually what people hate about festivals! x
Sounds like you've had a great time, I've never been to a festival before xxx
It was a great weekend, you should give one a go they're so much fun! x
OMG! I've never heard of this festival – Sounds amazing and clearly you had an awesome time.
Will have to tell my other half about this, he loves events like this.
Thanks for sharing hun

You should, it was such a great weekend and always such a laugh. And it's always on bank holiday weekend which is even better! x
Great post this! – I was there (well I live in Leeds and it would be rude to miss out on this fantastic live music!) – I just can't believe how good the weather was for the weekend!
That's fantastic, hope you had a great time there. The Leeds leg of the festival is always the best of the three! x
Sounds an amazing weekend, I am now having to stay and play Taking Back Sunday before I go.
You're more than welcome! haha! As long as it's 'Tell All Your Friends' haha x
I really wanted to go to reading festival, but its soooo expensive! Going to STB on saturday eep! x
Ohh Reading is really good, but it's not my favourite one to camp at! I'm still debating about going this year. x
Yeah it is only really good if you like heavier music to be honest, but there are plenty more out there x
