Run or Dye: A Fun Run With A Twist

Run or Dye: A Fun Run With A Twist

For those of you who know me you’ll know that this year I am trying to push myself to my limits with obstacle course runs, and in September I am walking a marathon to raise money for Cancer Research, but i’ll go into more detail about that another time.

But I’ve decided I want to do more fun things which is why I have been eyeing up the Run or Dye events for a while. The North London one happened last Sunday (7th June) and I was gutted about missing it which is why I plan to head to the South London one in October.

Run or Dye is a completely unique event which combines a run with the same fun that you get at Holi Festival! During this 5km run everyone will get covered with safe, eco-friendly powdered dye each km in. The colours look insane and it gives you a few seconds breather after each km so even if you’re a non runner it won’t feel too bad.

When you cross the finish line the fun doesn’t end there and you’ll find yourself in the middle of an insane colourstorm complete with music and enough dye to create the most awesome tie-dye shirt!

Regardless of whether you’re a seasoned runner or a complete novice it’s going to be one of the funnest days you’ll have. I’ll be at the South London run by Hever Castle on 3rd October so join me or find out where the other events are being held through their website.

I’m excited to run around covered in dye and acting like a right child! If you decide to sign up use the code KISDISCOUNT for £3 off your entry!

I've wanted to do a run or dye run for a little while now. I'm hoping I'll get fit enough to run the whole thing next year. I'm going to Holi Festival though so I'm looking forward to it.

You stop every km to get paint thrown at you so it shouldn't be too bad even for a non runner. I really wanted to go to Holi this year but i'm in NY when it's on! x
