Ebay Bargain Haul – November 2015

Posted in Lifestyle

My Ebay haul seems to be a regular monthly thing now so welcome to November’s addition. I was going to do a Christmas addition but although I sometimes buy presents through Ebay but I always end up buying things for myself so this isn’t Christmassy it’s more treats for you!

 coloured eyeliner pens

I was randomly browsing Ebay a few weeks back and spotted these brightly coloured liners. They can be used as eyeliners and lipliners (although I don’t think I would dare most colours on my lips). For £4.99 I thought why the hell not because someones it can be useful to have a bright colour for a fancy dress party or just an unusual look. When they arrived the colours are just as highly pigmented as the photo shows and they glide on super easily. I have tried them out initially but I am looking forward to trying these out more.

elf eyeshadow primer
Elf Eyeshadow Primer- £4.99-

I have been religiously using my Too Faced Eyeshadow Primer (you can read my review of it here) and I am slowly starting to run out so I thought that I should invest in a new one. When I was in the States I bought a lipstick from the ELF range and it is seriously one of the best things i’ve bought so I thought i’d pick up their primer. Their products are sometimes hard to find because they’re predominantly not a UK brand so I picked this up from Ebay. I haven’t yet tried it out but i’ll let you all know how I get on with it.

black ankle boots

Black Chelsea Boots- £15.99- Buy Here

Every year I buy myself a new pair of boots and I hadn’t found any in shops that I really loved so I thought i’d look through Ebay. Once I spotted these I knew they had to be mine. I haven’t had a pair of ankle boots which are flat so chelsea boots seemed like a great way to start and these are just plain and black so they will match with everything I wear. These have only just turned up so I haven’t had a chance to wear them yet but they look beautiful.

foundation brush
Foundation Brush- £0.99 & £0.39 Postage Buy Here

The second I saw this foundation brush I was intrigued by the little dip in the middle but this is suggested as where you put the foundation so it stays in the brush. I haven’t yet received this yet so I can’t let you know how this works but expect details on it later. I’ve bought brushes from this brand before and they’ve always been good so I have high hopes, but if it isn’t great then I know I haven’t wasted a lot of money.

acrylic make up drawers

Acrylic Make Up Drawers- £9.49- Buy Here

My make-up collection seems to be spiralling out of control so I have had to buy some more storage for it. I already have one set of these drawers but knew I better buy another set to put on top (I also have two other storage units and two lipstick holders, oops!) I know these are a decent quality thick plastic and because they are clear you can see what you have inside and the drawers are pretty spacious considering it’s a cheaper alternative to some other storage decisions for make-up.

  • This makeup brush looks exactly the same like the one from Bare Minerals. I have read great reviews about it. I really like the shoes too and for £15.99 you can't go wrong. Thank you for sharing lovely! x

    • That's what I thought about the brush it reminded me of the Bare Minerals one straight away x

  • Those boots are so so gorgeous! I am really picking about boots. May need to pick these up. For the price they look great.

Some really reasonable picks here- just in time for pay day!

    • Good treats for yourself alongside Xmas shopping 😀 x

  • I actually like the liners more then anything else (which is odd, I never wear colour on my eyes) but they're just so vibrant and reallylook 'true' colour, great for fancydress (my family do a tonne of it!) xx

    • I've found that they're also great for seeing what colours look good on you. I have green eyes so some colours don't look right and it's great to be able to experiment with blues etc without committing to spending too much x

  • I love the make up brush and the pens look fab! I love a good ebay buy!

  • I like the acrylic makeup drawers. That would be great for jewellery too.

    • Yes they'd work for most things and they don't take up much room x

  • I'm in need of a make up stand so may give this a go :) thanks!

  • Those eyeliners/lip liners look so cool! It would be so fun to play around with them and create such different looks. Also, while I haven't tired Too Faced's eyelid primer, I think you will be super pleased with elf's eyeshadow primer! I really like it, and it works so well!

Those boots are adorable, by the way!

    • Glad you love some of the bits i've found, I can't wait to properly try out the eyeshadow primer, couldn't live without it now x

    • I tend to always try and finish my shopping earlier so there's time to treat myself. Has to be done doesn't it? x

  • I love eye liners, but never thought about colourful ones. I usually stick to black only, but perhaps I should try a new colour! :) x

  • I need those coloured eye liners in my life! They look amazing!!! Thanks for sharing!!
