Ebay Bargain Haul – December 2015

Ebay Bargain Haul – December 2015

I was going to do a Christmas themed Ebay bargain haul but then I thought December is way too late to do one. The Royal Mail would never get your delivery to you in time if you ordered now (good luck if you have!)

So instead this bargain haul are some of the things I’ve been treating myself to over this month because you need treats when all you’ve been doing is Christmas shopping.

glitter phone case

Glitter Phone Case – £3.49

To begin with is this phone case. Going completely against what I said above about these being presents for me, this was actually something I bought my mum. My mum is a complete magpie and if something glitters she loves it never mind how tacky it might look. I was looking around for a new phone case for her because her old one is very tired and came across this one which not only is glittery but has purple edges (her favorite colour, hooray!) I wasn’t expecting great quality for the price but it’s a decent thickness plastic and feels really durable and the glitter isn’t the kind which is going to come off on your hand everytime you use it. Bonus!

yankee candle diffuser

Yankee Candle Reed Diffuser – £9.99 – Buy Here

I’ve only really just begun using reed diffusers as candles always used to be my jam but my mum is obsessed with them and the house always smells wonderful when I go round to visit so I thought i’d get one. Obviously if you can Yankee is the choice for everything like this and when I found these reeds on promotion I had to snap one up. I currently have Midnight Jasmine but you can get them in a number of scents aswell.

yankee voltive candle

Yankee Voltive Candle Cookies for Santa – £2.99 – Buy Here

Sticking to the Candle theme I have been stocking up on voltives over the past few months to sample a load of smells before committing to spending the money on a larger candle. I bought the Christmas Baking Candle from Asda which is probably my favourite scent ever (it pretty much smells like you’ve got cakes baking all day!) but this Cookies for Santa scent is a bit more neutral and perhaps less over the top. Regardless of it’s name I am going to burning this right through the New Year.

medal hanger

Medal hanger – £13.95 – Buy Here

For those of you who have been reading my blog for a while or know me you’ll know I have been doing races, obstacle runs and other forms of endurance activities throughout 2015 and iIve already got a good collection of medals in my possession. With about three or four already planned for next year (and probably more to come) I thought it was about time I got a medal hanger. This is a perfect size and is going to look amazing on my way when I manage to get it up, my only issue is I think i’ll fill it up too quickly and need another.

multi plug

USB plug – £2.89 – Buy Here

Now for something boring and super practical. This USB Plug has made my life so much easier. Beside my bed I have a double plug but alternate between charging my Ipod, my mobile, my camera, my fitness band and my SLR camera (the list goes on!) And it was always such a pain to keep pulling plugs in and out but with this plug I no longer have that. I can plug in four different USB leads to the one plug and charge all my products at the same time whilst always knowing where the cable is going to be. Seriously one of the best things I’ve bought!

collapsable reflector

Collapsable Reflector – £3.48 – Buy Here

Photography is something I really want to focus more on in the New Year so I bought this reflector in a bid to help me to get more light into my photos so I don’t have to rely on my flash. I have used it a few times and it has been a great help with adding in some light but I do need to play around with it some more. For just a few pounds it’s going to be fun adding more little bits like this to help get my photos to a point where I am happy with them.

What bargains have you found on Ebay recently?

Omg! I never knew the real name of the collapsable reflector! I always used to call them "those thingies that people always have at photoshoots that reflects light" haha! And it's so cheap! -inserts into basket-

Great picks – I need one of those reflectors too 🙂 I feel apprehensive about picking up Yankee Candles off ebay because there are a lot of fakes going around

    • December 17, 2015 / 9:09 am

Yeah I know what you mean, as long as they smell nice I don't mind too much. But Asda do the real things and the voltives there tend to be quite cheap x

  3. December 17, 2015 / 11:52 am

  4. December 17, 2015 / 3:23 pm

I'll be tracking down that USB as soon as I'm finished here. Like you I seem to have an endless list of things that need to be recharged and they all go flat at the same time. Thanks for the info

  7. December 18, 2015 / 1:48 pm

Some great bargains here – it's so strange, I rarely go to ebay unless I am looking for second hand clothes or furniture – think I need to check it out more often!

    • December 18, 2015 / 2:50 pm

Anything I want to buy I always tend to check on here first for alternatives. Great way to save money x

  8. December 18, 2015 / 2:21 pm

I've stopped using ebay as I never find anything, but you always seem to get great stuff.

    • December 18, 2015 / 5:23 pm

You have to either know exactly what you want or have the patience to browse x

  9. December 19, 2015 / 12:12 am

Ive been thinking King about picking up some reed diffusers for the house, I've heard great things and they're a little less dangerous than a naked flame!! I am off to buy one of those Yankee candle ones now!!

    • December 19, 2015 / 4:31 pm

They do smell beautiful so well worth a purchase and you can't go wrong with a Yankee! x

    • December 20, 2015 / 12:20 am

I have no idea why the word King is written on that comment I left! 😀 slip of the typing finger! And you are right, you can never go wrong with a yankee!

  10. December 19, 2015 / 4:39 pm

  11. December 20, 2015 / 1:22 pm

  12. December 20, 2015 / 9:34 pm

I also own gold and silver reflector but to be honest I hardly ever use them 🙁 It seems like a good white reflective board does the trick most times.

    • December 21, 2015 / 9:42 am

I need to get a reflective white board actually. Definitely right up on my list for things in 2016 is to improve my photography! x
