Every month I have been doing my Ebay bargain hauls and I thought I would start doing themed ones as previously they’ve been quite a mis-match. This month I’ve found a load of beauty products on Ebay so it seemed like the best place to start.
Liquid Lipsticks – £2.49 (Buy one get one free) – Buy Here
Liquid lipsticks seem to be in the in thing now and pretty much every brand have them. I received a Too Faced one in a beauty box but the colour just wasn’t me so I went online to search for some cheaper ones to see if they worked for me. I spotted these and at £2.49 for two (buy one get one free) and free delivery I made a purchase. They arrived super quick as surprisingly they’re shipped from the UK and they are amazing (so much so I’ve ordered another two already). The colours are really pigmented and glide on easily but once they’re on they’re on. If anything they’re a little tricky to take off but I can deal with that. Just an FYI if you do order look at the swatches in the body of the listing and don’t go by the photos.
Make up bag – £3.50 – Buy Here
I love slogan items and little make up/ trinket bags are in pretty much all my handbags where I keep random things like lip balms, tissues, cotton buds, my USB stick, ear plugs, pens, you know all the essentials. So when I saw these cute bags at such a great price I knew I had to order one and with a slogan like ‘Glitter runs through my veins’ how could I not order?! The quality of these are on a par with ones I’ve bought from Chelsea Market in New York and Camden at a fraction of the price.
Blush Palette – £3.95 – Buy Here
I have loads of eye-shadow palettes but I don’t actually own a blush palette so despite lusting over the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani one I thought I’d order this and see how the pigmentation, application and longevity of this steal of a palette stood up. The colours look really nice in the compact and I’ve looked through some of the feedback and not seen anything negative about the product so we will see when it arrives in my postbox. I’m quite excited to see how the colours work together and to be honest even if they aren’t right as blushes I’m sure they can be used for other things just as well.
Sheet Mask – £1.89 – Buy Here
Sheet masks are another thing which everyone seems to be raving about and I totally get them now. They’re much easier to apply than a gel/ liquid/ clay mask, less messy with the application and taking it off and the serum seems to moisturise and hydrate my skin so much better than most other things I’ve used. I love the Tony Moly masks which you can get for a decent price on Amazon but I wanted to branch out and try some other brands so I ordered these Korean masks. I’m not sure how they’ll compare as they haven’t yet arrived but for £1.89 it won’t be a waste if it doesn’t stand up to my other loves.
Oval Make Up Brush – £2.69 – Buy Here
I thought i’d completed my make-up brush collection but then I saw this oval brush. I’d never had thought about needing one but as soon as I saw it I thought how great it could be. I find when I apply my foundation I am really bad and tend to often forget my nose but with this brush it’s the perfect size to angle up the side of your nose for even coverage. But it’s also good for powders as it gives a good overall coverage when using it. I wasn’t expecting too much for under three quid but the bristles are soft and it feels pretty sturdy. Ebay has come up trumps again!
Grey Eyeliner – £0.99 – Buy Here
I am at my wits end with grey eyeliners, I have spent so much money trying to get a decent one which is a dark grey and doesn’t come out light/ silvery/ like a felt tip pen running out. Nars failed me for the first time and it made me really sad so when I saw this eyeliner for 99p I just bought it because if it’s rubbish like all the others I haven’t wasted too much money. Sometimes I just want a dark solid colour which isn’t quite as deep as the black I usually wear, is this too much to ask for!? Recommendations highly needed!
