buddy box

Subscription boxes are at an all time high at the moment with options available for pretty much everything: beauty, tea, food, alcohol, pets, books, kids…. the list goes on. And in all honesty who doesn’t love a monthly delivery of exciting products to suit your tastes?!

Buddybox*is a monthly subscription box, but it’s not your traditional one full of beauty products or bath items, theirs is designed with substance to counter the pressures that we face in life. The team know that life can be stressful so each and every month they aim to send out a range of products to make you smile.

Buddybox is made in connection with Blurt who want to increase awareness and understanding surround depressing. Life can be difficult and depression can affect any of us, and I know all too well how life shattering depression can be. Blurt is an organisation which aims to not just change lives, but save them.

By purchasing a BuddyBox your money is going straight to helping people which is a great worthwhile cause. You can choose to purchase a one off box, get a rolling subscription or send a box to a friend who you know might be in need of one. Like most subscription boxes the content is a secret each month because surprise post is always better! The items though have been hand-picked to help you feel good, de-stress you, help you feel calm, pampered and relaxed and simply to help you smile and have fun.

The brand are there to encourage you to take time out and look after yourself which is exactly what I did when I got engrossed in one of the products in my box. Because you can send a one off box to a friend I definitely know that I’ll be picking one up to send to a special friend later this year to coincide with a special date.

The box I received did exactly that. I got a big tub of hot chocolate which would be a treat for anyone, a Paris drawing book which did keep me quiet for a while when it arrived, some nourishing handcream, some cute motivational postcards, an adorable coaster and a little grow your own plant which is so cute I can’t wait to see it grow.

The great thing about the box is how it is suitable for anyone, Buddybox claim the boxes are gender neutral, inclusive and ageless and I definitely felt that. Any age person of either gender would enjoy the lovely products in the box which is something you don’t get a lot in other beauty boxes.

Is Buddybox something you’d consider sending a friend or ordering for yourself?
