Cleanse Your Body With A Tea Detox

Cleanse Your Body With A Tea Detox

Tea detoxes are everywhere these days with so many brands claiming to help you lose weight/ cleanse your insides. Detoxes aim to get rid of toxins and unhealthy substances in the body and while some works whilst others are left with a little to be desired.

A tea-tox works as a herbal tea which you add to your diet to aid with digestion, increase your metabolism and cleanse toxins from the body. I was sent a seven day tea-tox which has been created by Slim Kitten for NutiPlan* and it claims to reduce bloating, reduce your sugar and carb cravings, boost your immune system and make you feel refreshed and awake.

Within the set I got 7 morning tea bags which you have every single day, and 3 evening tea bags which you take every other day. Generally the evening tea’s are the ones which almost act as a laxative and cleanse you more but these weren’t quite as intense as other tea detoxes I have tried.

Due to the amount of fizzy drinks I have I generally am always quite bloated and never generally feel that great about my body so I was excited to see how the detox would work. The tea’s have a slight red colouring due to the ingredients and they have quite a fruity taste which although was drinkable wasn’t massively enjoyable, but no detoxes I’ve tried have been nice.

I find it quite hard to judge detoxes over shorter period of time and while I can’t tell if it did boost my immune system I did feel less bloated and more energised.

If you’re looking for a gentler tea detox which won’t get you running to the toilet every hour then make sure you give Nuti Plan a go.

I am a keen coffee drinker! Don’t go a day without at least two cups. But sometimes I like to have a few days off and this looks like a great way!

I’d like to do another teatox, I’ve tried a few, this one included. Some are a lot stronger than others and should be avoided. But I thought this was a good one.

I’ve heard so many great things about teatoxes, although it worries me that they can mess with birthcontrol etc, I’m not sure I dare try them.

I am not a huge tea fan, more of a coffee drinker but will check this brand out.

I’ve heard so many bad things about some teatoxes but as I am not a big tea fan in the first place it’s probably not for me! x

I’ve never tried any kind of tea detoxs or any detox at all, I tend to just use hot lemon water and that calms me down but I’d still love to try it out!

I have to admit I’ve not tried a teatox in a while, I tried one and it was a bit harsh for me, I think I need to try something a little more gentle. x

I’ve done this before, and it really did make me feel better. Tea detoxes are soothing too since they’re warm.

I’ve never tried a tea detox tbh, they sound okay!

Never heard of this myself but I love tea and I’m into eating healthy… you do need a little longer to see and feel the effect of teatoxing, I guess. I might look this up!

I have tried a couple of teatox before and shorter periods only improved my mood but as I have continued on using some of them I have noticed some difference

  23. May 28, 2016 / 9:57 pm

I don’t like tea which is a shame as these tea detoxes sound good.

I don’t mind detox teas but it isn’t easy to find something which taste acceptable… most of them have rather unpleasant flavours.

I always think these sorts of things are a bit of a fad but I’ve heard a lot of good things about tea-toxing and detox teas recently so perhaps I’ll have to give it a go! X X

I’ve tried a teatox before and it just didn’t work! I went to the toilet every morning but there wasn’t really any change from usual. Great to hear that this one is a gentle one to start with, I think a lot of people rush into these and can end up feeling worse afterwards!
