Netflix itself is an amazing concept and I don’t know how I’d survive a lazy weekend day in without it but it seems that my to watch list never gets smaller and only grows and grows. This might be because I am rubbish and never seem to have the time to watch stuff.
Jessica Jones- The first thing to tackle has to be JJ because A it’s Marvel related and that’s an instant plus for me but also it’s only one season long so in theory shouldn’t take too long to finish. I am 2 episodes in and for some reason I am kind of struggling to get into it but this might be because I have not given it 100% attention when I’ve watched it before.
Daredevil- The next logical step from Jessica Jones is another Marvel series Daredevil. I’ve heard great things about this and because it follows more of a superhero premise I think I will really enjoy this. I haven’t yet read any of the Daredevil comics but they are next on to read list and it will be interesting to see what parallels the show and the comics draw from one another.
Making a Murderer- Everyone in the world seemed to get into this last year/ earlier this year when it came out but I didn’t get into the hype but now it has died down I definitely think it’s one to watch. I like the fact that it’s a documentary and based on real events as it’s something totally different from what I usually watch, especially with season two approaching I think I should watch this before it’s too late.
Stranger Things- The new hyped programme at the moment is Stranger Things. Some places call it horror, others opt for sci fi and some go for supernatural. Now horror isn’t usually my favorite type of thing but I’ve heard such great things about the show for everything from characters and acting to atmosphere and suspense. I’m not sure how I’ll deal with it if it’s jumpy as I hate jumpy things but I think it’s worth a go.
GRIMM- I have been trying so hard to finish GRIMM and despite loving the premise, being invested and enjoying the characters I am really struggling to get through it. I think it’s perhaps because it’s quite dialogue heavy as opposed to action heavy, plus the episodes are an hour long and there are about 22 in each season making it a very long watch. I have almost finished season one (I think) but it’s something I am going to need to re-visit at some point.
