Some of you might remember that last September I did the Shine Walk which was a marathon walk through London during the night to raise money for Cancer Research. It was a tough old walk with a pretty bad ankle injury that came from it but I made it and I’m signed up to do it again this year.
This year I am going into the marathon with a fresh mindset and I’ve made one big change, I’m doing it alone. Now it would be great to have someone there doing it with me but I think with anything like this it can be better to do it solo as you can do it at your pace rather than going at a suitable pace for you both. I am going to create an epic 6-8 hour playlist to ensure I have enough music to get me through and my only goal is to beat last years time which was about 8 hours.
