Since I came back from New York I put myself on an unconscious makeup spending ban as I got a LOT (take a look at just my Sephora buys). There’s actually been little this month which has made me really want to spend which is good because I am a complete sucker for marketing gimmicks or reviews of products. Fortunately for this there isn’t too much that is on my wishlist, although there’s always going to be some products I want but maybe I can hang on until Christmas?! (doubtful!)
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Double Dare- I love these lipsticks as they’re really long lasting and the colour pigmentation is great but I’ve struggled to get hold of this shade so it’s on my wishlist for when KVD arrives in Debenhams. I think once the brand come to the Oxford Street store there will be a lot more shades adding themselves to my wishlist.
Kat Von D Lock It Edge Concealer- When I was in New York I only really looked at Kat’s lip products and forgot to check out anything else but I have been hearing so much about the concealer. This isn’t the kind of thing I can order online so I’m going to hang on until it arrives in London and see what the colours come out like.
Urban Decay Naked Foundation- I absolutely love the Naked concealer and it’s my favourite to use so I feel that the foundation is something which I really should try. I will always have Double Wear on use but I have three other high end foundations (Nars/ Tarte/ Laura Mercier) so I won’t be buying anything until at least one is finished.
Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks- This is one of the only liquid lipstick brands which I have yet to try and have been on my wishlist for ages. A lot of the colours are way out of my comfort zone but there are some lovely looking nude/ pink/ red shades that I really want to try. Scorpio and Androgyny were the top two I wanted to try but Unicorn Blood and Rich Blood also look like amazing colours. I always find that they come into stock at different times making them difficult to order in the UK.
Hourglass Lighting Edit Limited Edition Palette- I am just a little bit obsessed with Hourglass after buying my first blush in the States. They used to do a blusher palette but this seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth and I’m just not interested in another one which is purely highlighter. This one has a mixture of blush, bronzer and highlighter and looks amazing with it’s marble exterior. It might be a little on the pricy side but a wishlist doesn’t always have to be realistic does it?!
Glamglow Gravity Mud- There are quite a few variations of Glamglow but my friend said this is the best she’s tried. It’s an intense mask and dries to be a silver colour (amazing). This is also a peel off mask which means it should be a lot less messy to take off and it’s designed to firm and tighten skin which as I approach my late twenties is something my skin will need.
Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Indiscretion- I have quite a few highlights (a lot more than I need) but they’re all quite bold/ quite glittery/ quite pigmented so I don’t really have anything for more of a day to day look. I’ve read a few reviews and seen the swatches of this and it looks like a really good everyday shade for when I just want a little bit of a glow. I might have to head into Selfridges to give this a look.
