Eight Things I Need To Do In London

Considering I live a 20-minute train ride away from Central London it’s surprising that there’s still so much for me to do in the capital and so much to explore. I am very much a creature of habit and hit up the same places, shop in the same areas and eat in the same places so I decided to create a London bucket list of things I want to visit/ explore/ eat in etc. My hope would be that I can complete this within a year (because the end of this year is way too ambitious).

Complete an Escape Rooms Experience

I have wanted to do one of these ever since I found out that they existed because the idea of solving puzzles and riddles makes me excited but I have yet to find friends who are also up for it. A definite one for the next year.

Visit the Tower of London

I have seen the outside of the Tower of London but I have never been in so therefore have never seen the crown jewels. I visited the ones in Edinburgh when I went so I should really head to the ones in London.

Explore the Victoria and Albert Museum

I am pretty ashamed that I have got to 26 years old and have never visited the V&A. It’s such an iconic museum and I definitely need to spend a good few hours exploring the various exhibitions.

Go to St Paul’s Cathedral

Again another famous and iconic thing in London which I have yet to explore. Having been to Cathedral’s and churches all across Europe I am pretty ashamed I haven’t been here. I’ve not even had a proper look at the outside, what’s wrong with me?

Have afternoon tea at Sketch

I bloody love a good afternoon tea and I have heard such great things about Sketch and just seeing images of the interior is enough for me to know I’ll love it here. You can’t go wrong with scones and sandwiches can you!?

Go to the London Dungeons

I am such a wuss and am really jumpy which is why I have never been to the London Dungeons but it’s definitely something I think I need to do.

Book onto a Street Art Tour

I never really explore the parts of London which has awesome street art (or if I do I never notice it all that much) but I have seen so many street art tours which I think would be a great way of seeing all the memorials and paintings around London.

Go to God’s own Junkyard

You’ve probably all seen the images even if you don’t realize it’s here but it’s neon heaven. I really want to head here and experience it for myself.

What are your London recommendations?
