With less than a week until Christmas I can’t believe I’ve kept up with my weekly gift guides, and with 10 in total I’m pretty sure I’ve covered all bases. As a music
lover obsessive myself I know how hard it can be to buy the perfect gift for that music lover in your life but here are some choices to inspire you.
Cassette 1GB USB – £19.99
Cassette tapes seem to be coming back and getting popular again but obviously having an actual tape is pretty pointless as you can’t play it anywhere but this awesome looking USB comes in tape case. You get the nostalgia mixed in with modern technology.
Vinyl Frame – £5.00
You can make a really personal gift by getting hold of a special someone’s’ favourite album on vinyl and framing it. I have six of these on my wall with all of the albums by my favourite band and they look amazing as the artwork on vinyl’s tends to be really nice.
Alpine MusicSafe Pro Earplugs* – £19.95
Anyone who goes to live shows or plays shows should know the importance of earplugs and I have to hold my hands up and say despite the number of shows I go to I really don’t wear them nearly as often as I should. The risk of hearing damage is almost 4 times higher for musicians, DJ’s and those who frequent shows which is pretty scary. Musicsafe Pro Earplugs are a fantastic alternative as they conserve the music experience and don’t blot out noise so you can still enjoy it without it putting additional strain on your ears. There are three music filters so you can choose what works best for you and having used them a few times myself I can say they’re really comfortable, stay in well and are really easy to clean. If you know anyone who plays or loves music these are a great handy yet sensible gift.
Cassette Printed Sign – £1.75
Again with the cassette hype is this printed sign which is a complete steal from Typo and just really pretty. These signs are really good quality as I have a few of them in my office/ spare bedroom and they stand on their own and are full of vibrant colours.
Rock & Roll Cufflinks – £14.00
Most men don’t wear a shirt and cufflinks every day but everyone needs a few nice pairs to jazz up those shirts for a special occassion and what better way to show your love for music than with a pair of rock and roll cufflinks?
Vinyl Record Coasters* – £9.99
Away from cassette’s and back to vinyl now and these vinyl record coasters would make an amazing gift for that music lover who you have absolutely no idea what to buy for. They’re really good quality and not flimsy or rubbery like other ones I’ve seen and you get six in a pack which is such a good amount to use around the house. I still can’t decide whether I want to actually give them away as a present or keep them for myself.
Guitar Chopping Board – £24.99
Everyone needs a chopping board so why not an awesome guitar shaped one personalized for the person? This one says ‘Chop Star’ under the name but there are so many other versions which you can buy.
Punk Rocker Tshirt – £22.00
This is definitely a present for the music-loving lady in your life but I couldn’t resist putting this on the gift guide as firstly the RockonRuby Etsy shop is one of my favourites, you definitely need to check it out. But also because it’s such a pretty print.
