Now I’m a self-confessed Lushaholic and in my mind, they can do no wrong so when I discovered the bath melts and oils and how great my skin felt afterwards, so I started using them in every single bath I had. Fast forward to March when I received my Treat Box – which is the only monthly subscription box I still get – and a little bar of what looked like chocolate laid inside. The bee’s honey bath melt looked like a bar of white chocolate and was such a great size for a subscription box.
Putting the bar in my bathroom I decided to crack off a few chunks the next time I had a bath. Like most other bath melts I’ve used the chunks were soft and melted a tiny bit as soon as my warm hand touched them which was great as they melted straight into my bath. With no ideas in my mind of how it would work I let the chunks melt into my bath, threw in a bath bomb for good measure and forgot all about it until I stepped in. From the moment I stepped into the bath my skin felt insane, I have never felt as soft and silky as I did getting into my first Bee’s melt bath. Even after having moisturizing treatments at a spa my skin never felt that good and thankfully the honey wasn’t too overpowering because I’m not a huge fan.
At just under £5 for a bath this will last about six baths’ and even then that’s being generous with 4-5 chunks per bath, comparing that to £2 per bath melt from Lush you’re saving a lot of money. After two or three goes using this I knew it wasn’t just a one-off fluke this bath melt was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever used so I promptly went onto the brands’ website and ordered all three versions of the bar; the original honey, a citrus version and a calming lavender alternative.
I have Treat Box to thank for the inclusion of the fantastic Our Tiny Bee’s brand. This is one product I am never going back on.
