My New York Wishlist

My New York Wishlist

In September I am heading back to the states to do a few days across each of New York, Niagara, Philadelphia and Washington DC. I am incredibly lucky to have been to all of these places before so I can be more selective over what I do, and what I choose to see.

On the day that I arrive in New York I am planning on doing a mass shopping spree to try and get most of the things I want to get in advance. The collage above shows some of the things I really want to get.

Michael Kors Bag

I don’t own a Michael Kors bag and in all honesty i’m not a massive fan of most of them, Fossil handbags are my thing. But I realized I don’t own a nice evening bag and I love this one. I pretty much love it for the studs, but it’s also a perfect size as well. I am keeping everything crossed that they still make this bag, if so i’ll be picking this up.

Fossil purse

As a complete sucker for Fossil I have only used their purses for about 5 years now and i’ve had my current one since my trip to New York in October 2013. Although it’s still in great condition there are a few marks on it so I think it’s time to treat myself. They do one just in the US which is black with bright pink lining which is what i’ve got my eye on.

Disney Vans

Vans released their Disney shoes about a month or so ago and i’m thinking my trip to the states is the perfect time to pick up a pair. I am hoping to find something unusual which they haven’t released in the UK, but failing that I love the Disney villains pair.

Kat Von D eyeliner

I’ve wanted to try this eyeliner for ages as i’ve only heard great things about it so when I make my pilgrimage to Sephora it’s going to be at the top of my wishlist!

Koh Den Go Foundation

While i’m in Sephora i’m going to check out the Koh Den Go aqua photoshop foundation. Those of you who have seen the video of the girl who does half her make up and looks super glamorous, this is the foundation she uses so i’m going to have a look and treat myself to some and see how good it works on me!

Turquoise faced watch

Fossil (yes again!) have brought out some beautiful watches which all have turquoise faces and i’ve had my eye on them for a while. I have a lot of watches but this is something totally different to the rest of my collection so that’s my justification.

Slogan make up bags

When I went to NY last time there was a beautiful craft market in Chelsea and one of the stalls there sold these beautiful slogan make up bags (different to the picture) and I am really really hoping it’s still there as mine is in ruins!

Birchbox items

In Soho in NY there is a Birchbox shop where you can build your own box and it’s somewhere I really want to go. Not only can I pick up some of the items I buy cheaper from there, I can even craft a box full of just samples that I want to try. I’m just a little worried there will be too much choice.

What do you think of my choices? What US products and brands do you think I should check out?

Soho in NYC has a Birchbox store?! You must send me the address as I definitely need to go next year when I head to NY

    • July 15, 2015 / 11:51 am

Yeah I know, i'm trying to avoid buying anything until I go there as I know things will be cheaper. You're going to have such a great time going for the first time. This will be my third, and i'm already planning another trip for next summer. So addictive! x

This sounds like great fun – don't forget to go to Century 21 – I got a great clutch there last year.

    • July 17, 2015 / 2:09 pm

I find Century 21 very hit and miss, but I can't not go there when i'm going to be heading down that end of Manhattan! x

I'm an expat myself, and have a major love affair with NYC. If you are going to Sephora I def recommend getting the Buxom mascara, I get it every year when I go to the states

    • July 17, 2015 / 2:09 pm

Ohh thanks for the tip. I'll add that onto my list to check out in Sephora. x

It's one of my favourite places and there's always so much to do there. I am already starting to think about heading there next Summer as well! x
