‘Deck The Halls’ – Music To Get You In The Mood For Christmas
There’s no escaping the fact that Christmas is a little over a month away. Chances are the lights in your local town have been turned on, you’ve done quite a lot of your shopping and you’ve started to hear those Christmas tunes starting to fill your ears on the radio and in shops. The last week or so is always an important time for me as it’s when I finish my shopping (I do not like shopping in December) and it’s when I sit down in my makeshift Santa’s Grotto to wrap all of my presents. I am one of those weird people who absolutely loves wrapping presents, but you can’t do much wrapping without some music to accompany you.
The seasonal period is when Michael Buble comes out from his slumber (Like seriously do you ever hear him any other time of the year?!) and I like to dig out my more unusual Christmas albums such as the Punk goes Christmas album alongside overplaying the My Chemical Romance and The Used version of all I want for Christmas is you. Theres only certain times of the year it’s really acceptable to listen to Christmas music so embrace it and don’t become a scrooge.
Here’s a playlist to accompany you when you’re wrapping your presents/ baking/ cleaning your house/ any other damn thing over the next month. Enjoy!

I love the punk/rock Xmas songs! New Found Glory’s Ex-Miss and Fall Out Boy’s Yule Shoot Your Eye Out are among some of my favourites – and I have this MCR song on my Xmas playlist too!

I’m not a Christmas music fan Ok honestly I hate it. Although My Chemical Romance have made that version so much more bearable. I played slipknot and Limp Bizkit whilst wrapping prezzies up the other day x
I love christmas music, but pretty much the oldies, Doris Day, Bing Crosby etc. Anything beyond the 60’s makes me want to pour superglue in my ears!!
I went to Orlando last week and Christmas songs were everywhere so i am definitely in the mood haha xx
