I am awful when it comes to movies, especially older ones which I might not have had the chance to see at the cinema. In the past 12-18 months I have seen all of these movies for the first time (Yes it did take me this long): Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, The Goonies, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix, Sin City, Indiana Jones, Heathers, The Warriors, Lost Boys, Labyrinth…. my list could go on.
Since then I have been trying to work through a list of movies which have been recommended to me as ones I need to watch and I am hoping over 2017 I can get through a big chunk of them.
So many great movies mentioned here. I think I might have to have a movie marathon at the weekend.
So many great films here – Reservoir Dogs and Forest Gump are two of my absolute favourites! x
I was just thinking the other day that i would love to watch Rain Man again! There are a few here I haven’t seen – good list!
There are some really good movies in your list. I loved the Life of Pi, such a great movie!
omg youve not watched bravehear? its my most favourite film of all time ever , i cry every time x
I definitely recommend Breakfast at Tiffany’s ! Audrey Heburn is a dream in it x
There really are a lot of great films that you have yet to watch or have just managed to watch in the last year or so. I would recommend The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, and Rain Man from your list x
Have you seen Pulp Fiction yet? If not you should definitely add it to this list. There are actually a lot on your list that I haven’t seen either! Now that Braveheart is on Netflix I’m going to try and watch it this weekend.
Oh, Forrest Gump is an ultimate favorite! Try watching Hachiko too..It’s a good movie.
What a list! Make sure you bump Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Forrest Gump to the top!
Hmm, my recommendation is Delicatessen, it’s a black comedy and pretty unique. I think I’ve liked almost all the films on your list that I’ve seen!
Yesss you totally need to see gremlins it is one of my favs x
There’s some great titles on this post. Forrest Gump and Breakfast at Tiffany’s are my two favourite movies and I also love the Wolf of Wall Street. I highly recommend them! I need to make my own DVD bucket list as I always struggle to pick something for movie night! xo
Great list! What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams is a left field type of film, very sad but you might enjoy it x
I totally love love loooove Pans Labrinth and also The Fifth Element … great story line and not much of those dramatic antics on today’s movie shows we see.
There are SO many films that I haven’t seen on this list. I am looking forward to Beauty & The Beast coming out at the cinema and for films that have been out a while– the Blair Witch! I cant believe ive never watched it xxx
Out of all these I’ve seen two, The Gremlins – I used to be SO scared of as a child and I’ve seen Wolf of Wall Street – I love that film! I’ve had Breakfast at Tiffany’s for so long now on DVD just nothing to watch it on! xo
I haven’t seen the Blair witch project in such a long time. Thanks for the reminder.
Great idea! I will write my own as there are numerous I haven’t seen that apparently I need to see! Forrest Gump is absolutely awesome!
I’ve watched all of these and I like the green mile. I also like the princess bride and Life of Pi š You will enjoy them! I’m sure.
Forrest Gump is the best film I’ve seen! I’m surprised you’ve not seen it yet haha! You’ll really enjoy it.
The Green Mile is one of the best, and saddest, films I think I’ve ever seen. I loved it.
I didn’t like Life of Pi and thought it was really overrated, but Wolf of Wall Street is pretty good.
Oh I’ve seen/ own most of this list! If you haven’t seen already please add Heathers & Pump Up the Volume to the list!
I’ve seen quite a few of those films but have yet to watch a few too. I wouldn’t bother with Being John Malkovich. What a load of crap. My sister-in-law and I watched it and hated it but told my hubby (then bf) he “really needed to watch it, awesome film”. He did and hated it as much as we did and has never forgiven us for it, haha. A problem shared and all that…..
A great list, only 3 on here I’ve not seen! I can not believe you’ve not seen interview with a vampire, best place to start
Oh, some great movies there! The Green Mile is one of my all-time favourite movies and I loved Forest Gump and Interview with a Vampire!
