What I Carry Around On A Daily Basis In My Bag
I am the worst person when it comes to carrying around stuff in my handbag which I don’t need. I regularly have clear outs and I always feel like the items I carry are important and needed but chances are some stuff I won’t use from one month to the next. In a hope of realizing how much crap I carry around, I thought I’d showcase the contents of my bag to the world.
Purse
Now my purse is like a mini handbag on its own because I do keep quite a lot of things in there including receipts for postage items, vouchers, a whole load of cards and of course sometimes a little money. For the past 7 or so year’s I’ve exclusively used Fossil purses as I don’t like zip around purses which rules out a lot of designs and brands, but I love the way the compartments are done on Fossil purses. Although I feel like I’ll want a new one later this year, but I’m not a fan of the current Fossil purses so who knows what I’ll end up with.
Bullet journal
I almost always carry around my bullet journal on a daily basis as I can make notes in here, add things to my calendar, mark of things on various trackers and just generally have for all my journaling needs.
Pencil Case
To go alongside my bullet journal I carry around a small black moon pencil case from Typo which has all my journaling pens including my various colour Uniball eye pens which are my favourite things to use, and Faber-Castell artist pens which come in a variety of nib sizes depending on what I need. I also keep a couple of normal biros in here as well so that everything is together.
Larger items
My portable battery charger comes everywhere with me as my phone is so rubbish when it comes to keeping charge, A mini body spray because no one wants to smell anything less than amazing, My sunglasses in this awesome pouch from Accessorize and my Fossil card wallet which holds some of my less used cards which I still want to keep with me just in case.
Tote Bag
There’s always at least one tote bag in my handbag, although most of the time it’s two as this means when I am out shopping I always have a bag ready to use. I am awful at remembering to take more out when I do my grocery shopping but I’ve left some in my car now in the hope that I won’t kick myself everytime I get to the supermarket.
Star Wars Bag
This is my bag of small random things which is mainly beauty/ health related including some mini wipes, blotting papers, a lip brush, a mini liquid lipstick, a lipstick, 2 chapsticks, a blusher brush, a mini concealer, a mini perfume, a hair band, a phone cable, a nail file, a pre-workout powder sachet, hayfever relief tablets and various paracetamol tablets.
Other random items
A few beauty bits including a folding hairbrush because my hair can get really knotty, some bobby pins as I am growing my fringe out so sometimes it just needs to be pulled back, My bath and Bodyworks anti bac hand gel because you never know when you’ll need hand gel, and an EOS mint flavoured lip balm.
My work pass in this pretty silver Accessorize holder, My Oyster Card in my Alice in Wonderland holder, My car key card because I always have my handbag with me when I get into the car and of course my house keys which feature a few keyrings including a Deathstar and a Jack Skellington Pop figure.
Within the larger pocket in my bag I have a small notebook, a little coin purse which used to hold any gift cards in just currently just houses some iron on patches I haven’t yet got round to adding to my jackets and a small tin which has a USB pen, a tester perfume and a spare ear plug in it.

You’re very organised – I NEVER remember my tote bags and kick myself every time I go shopping. Ditto for the phone charger…!
Your bag is much better than mine, I usually have my purse and phone, diary and notebook, then a million receipts and various other rubbish, medication if C is with me and a few bits of make up. I may put a bag in but usually have to end up buying one x

You’re very organised! My bag contains most of these things, plus assorted receipts, packets of gum, old flyers that I’ve been handed…you get the picture!
I seem to carry around so much random stuff as well, I really need to streamline what I carry with me x
That’s one organised bag. I’ve tried and failed miserably to have an organised handbag. I tend to just throw things in and, as a result, can never find anything in it!
I think you carry around a lot less than someone people I know (looks at the wife)!

I have a work bag, a day bag and a “going out with the kids and need to carry everything but the kitchen sink bag”. Must go clear them out and declutter. They are all too full!
My bag is full of so much stuff and until yesterday even had a can of soup in there (random!) I like the way yours looks and that holder for the hand santiser is SO cute!! x
I always carry so much around too but I don’t feel it’s half as useful as what you do….I need to write some of this down!
I have a portable charger but I hadn’t thought to just stick it in my bag. I really should because my phone keeps dying on me! You are much more organised than me – I have to admit I usually just carry my purse!
I always have my journal with me too. It always comes in handy especially when you have a very good idea that’s to good to forget or just want to jot down something important or maybe a to do reminder.
I’m forever forgetting to add things to my bag especially my portable charger, I definitely need to become more organised x
I love how you organize the items on your bags and how colorful they are! I also have mini purse in my bag and sometimes my friends tell me I have bag in a bag. haha
I have a bullet journal too but my pens are kind of scattered in my purse. I will have to try the pencil case now to see if that helps me stay more organized:)
Wow, your items are way more handy than mine. Mine are things like old receipts and hand cream, and money, and thats about it haha
It is funny how what people keep in their bag is so personal to them and says so much about their lives. I always have nappies and wipes, so if anyone looked in mind they would instantly know I am a mum.
I love your bag. And you’re SO organised. Mine starts all nice and tidy, and then as the day goes on everything gets jumbled up and I can’t find anything I need haha

Very organised! I really need to get myself a foldable tote bag as I’m forever going into shops and forgetting bags.
My bag is filled more woth things for my toddler than myself lol.
I swear by a folding hairbrush for my bag, so easy to just chuck into my bag instead of carrying around one of my brushes. I really need to get a portable battery charger because I’m never off my phone.
