As we navigate life, we constantly collect and store memories from infancy to adolescence to old age. Many of these memories don’t have any physicality for us to remember them; instead, we rely on our minds to conjure them up in times of need. On the other hand, some of us have had the pleasure of being able to keep a treasured keepsake from our fonder, reminisced times which we’ve saved as a souvenir throughout our lives. Whether this is a concert ticket, a plane ticket, postcards, foreign currency. We all have items from our pasts that we’re unable to discard. Some of which can be hard to exhibit, which is why in this article, we’ll list a few creative ways to display and store beloved memories to help you find a home for them.

Store Your Memories In Box Frames

A Box Frame is otherwise known as Deep Box Frames or Shadow Box Frames; a Box Frame is the perfect way to store and display fond memories. Box frames are characterised as a deeply set case with a glass front; these frames come in many styles and sizes. They are generally used to display dried flowers, jewellery, and oddities like taxidermy. Once filled with your desired items, you can mount them on walls or rest them on mantelpieces. Alternatively, if you don’t have many bulky items to display, you could opt for custom picture frames. Enabling you to choose the style, size, and additional design features for your frame, perfect for displaying and storing picture memories or certificates.

 Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is a widely known hobby, which is perfect for creatively displaying and storing your memories. Scrapbooks can help you immortalise anything from postcards to coins and from concert tickets to newspaper clippings and can be entirely stylised by yourself (or friends and family members can contribute too!) Depending on how creative you want to make your scrapbook, you can source a wide array of materials to decorate your memories with. Such as ribbons, coloured or patterned tape, stickers, etc., all of which are readily available to purchase at a craft store or online.

Store Your Memories In Metal Wall Grid

Metal wall grid panels are a great, extremely versatile feature for displaying or storing all your memories. Unlike more permanent ways of preserving your memories, like scrapbooking, with metal wall grid panels, you can remove or add memories, change the layout, move the grid to a different area of your room, experiment with themes, and many more. You can also purchase additional add-on features for metal wall grids, such as hanging hooks or wire baskets, which enable you to store more significant items or ones that can’t stand alone. Take a look at how other people have styled their metal wall grid for some more inspiration.

Photo Album

A little more on the traditional side, photo albums are still a popular way of storing and displaying photographic memories. Nowadays, you can find them in various styles to suit a specific type of photograph, too, like Polaroid’s. You also don’t have to store just pictures in them either; you could use a photo album to display foreign currency, coins, newspaper clippings, tickets, and other small paper-based items too.
