Floors are Sloping

Unless you drop a marble and it runs all the way to one side of the room, you may not notice that your home has a slope. If your home does have a slope then this can be normal, but at the same time, it can be a sign that the joists in your floor have rotted over time. This can cause the floor to settle in that specific area. If this is something you are worried about, then you need to try and chat with a structural engineer as they can then work with you to try and find the best way of repairing it. This will help you to fix the issue before it gets worse.

You have Damp

Damp is a serious issue, and if you do not get it sorted, then you may have a major problem on your hands later. One way to fix this would be for you to invest in damp proofing from a qualified professional. This should sort the issue in no time at all.

Flickering Lights

Flickering lights are not a good sign at all. First of all, you need to try and check the bulb in the fixture to find out if that is loose. You might also want to try and replace it with a new bulb if possible. If the light continues to flicker, then this could be a major sign that you have an issue somewhere along the circuit. An electrician can easily work with you to diagnose issues like this.

You’re Noticing Cracks

When you notice a crack in your home’s window, you need to do some sleuthing. If you cannot determine the source of the crack by impact, then this could be a sign that you have had a structural shift and that this has put a lot of pressure on the glass. This is the last thing that you need, so try and make sure that you fix this as soon as possible.
