Discovering Unique Craft Beer With Beer52

December 13, 2016

Most of you probably know how much I love a good subscription box and my disdain with the beauty boxes where samples seem to be duplicated so often  it resulted in my canceling a lot of them. More recently I’ve been falling in love with lifestyle and food/ drink boxes so when the wonderful team at Beer52 introduced themselves I knew I had to have a look into the brand.

Like most of these boxes you can choose to purchase one off boxes, 3/6/9 month options or a rolling monthly contract and you recieve an awesome gift through the post. With Beer52 the name kind of gives it away and you get a number of craft beers’ to try out. I think these types of boxes are absolutely fantastic as they introduce you to new brands and get you trying things which you might not otherwise try.

Beer 52 Beer

The festive Christmas box turned up on my doorstep last week and I was intrigued at the awesome options of festive beers, it’s not often you see bottles with Santa adorned on it. The brand are now the UK’s most popular craft beer club and have their resident beer experts visit breweries all around the world searching for interesting brews and exciting new products for their subscribers. Every month new microbreweries and styles of beer are carefully chosen to be sent out and there’s even an awesome ‘Meet the Brewers’ booklet included where you can find out more about the breweries and the people behind the bottles you’re drinking. This and the munchy chili nuts sent really added something to the awesome box.

Beer 52 Items

Now to shatter all your illusions I am actually not a beer drinker myself *cue gasps*. You might be thinking why am I talking about a craft beer company if I can’t even tell you how amazing the bottles were, well this is where my wonderful dad came in. After I received the package, took my photos and had a read through the magazine it was time for the taste tests and over a few days my dad worked his way through the choices (what a hard life!) Now normally not only for ‘novelty’ festive beers’ he was shocked at how lovely the Christmas beers’ were, who knew Santa made such yummy beer?! He noted that there was something unique and special about each and every bottle and it wasn’t just like eight different versions of the same thing which is really important when you’re getting an alcohol box.

If you’re intrigued by Beer52 and fancy giving it a try you can get £10 off your first box with code RHIAN10 just pop here and choose your box.

Have you tried an alcohol subscription box before?
