Updated London Bucket List

January 23, 2017
London Eye

Last year I created a London bucket list with a handful of things that I really wanted to do in the capital city which I spend so much time in. It’s crazy how I can be in the city every single week for whatever reason but still have so much left that I want to do. I want to carry on having solo trip days into London to try and squeeze in everything I can. From my 2016 London bucket list I actually did pretty badly as I only completed three of the things I wanted to do so I need to make more of an effort this year.

X Complete an Escape Rooms Experience
I did one of these with a few friends and it was so much fun, definitely something I want to do again. You can find out more about my experience here.

Visit the Tower of London

X Explore the Victoria and Albert Museum
I went here twice, once to explore the whole museum and once for an awesome Revolution exhibition they had on about 60’s music and lifestyle

Go to St Paul’s Cathedral

Have afternoon tea at Sketch

Go to the London Dungeons

Book onto a Street Art Tour

X Go to God’s own Junkyard
I managed to head here with a few friends before a night out and it was a great experience. You can see more about my visit here.

Additionally here are some extras I want to add on for this year:

See School of Rock and Aladdin at the theatre

Go the the Sky Garden and have a drink watching out over the beauty of London. Ideally I’d like to do this in the summer time if it doesn’t book up too quickly

Go to Choccywoccydoodah which is a chocolate restaurant

What would you recommend doing in London?

I love London. i split my time between Cardiff and London. In the UK London is my favorite place, the shopping is great and there is always something to do. If you like afternoon tea I recommend Tea at the Ritz. I went there a few years ago and loved it. If you also love movies, especially the James Bond ones, I recommend the Bond In Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum x

The Tower of London is a really cool experience. I love going on Thames River Cruises, it’s a different way to see the city and it’s kinda like a water taxi so that’s cool too. x

This is a cool bucket list. I have lived in London for 2 years but I haven’t got the chance to really visit all the places I wanted cos I ended up working all the time just to survive…

Some amazing bits! I’ve been to the Brighton Choccy but it’s so small. Nice, though, as it’s the original. I want to go the the London one, too. I also love going to visit Madame Tussaud’s, it’s a lot of fun! I want to see School of Rock and Aladdin as well as The Lion King and We Will Rock You.

I’d love to visit The Shard in my dad’s honour, too. We were meant to be going together but he passed away before we could. My step brother said it’s fantastic and really recommends it.
