The Affordable Faux Leather Jacket You Will Fall In Love With
I don’t do many fashion posts on my blog, mainly because I don’t think I’m fashionable and feel like I still dress pretty much the same as I did a decade ago (hey vans, skinny jeans and band tee’s), but also because being that bit larger I don’t always find myself feeling comfortable/ confident in trends or pretty styles. Despite this, I had to write about the most amazing faux leather jacket which I picked up from Forever 21.
In normal circumstances, I’d never be able to pick up a jacket like this in a standard store but thankfully Forever 21 do a plus size range which is now in store in their Oxford Street branch. The great thing about it is you can buy it in both the standard sizes and up to a 3XL which is something I love as I find a lot of places do separate ranges across the two size variations. Despite having a plus-sized jacket the arms are normal length which is great because a lot of clothing manufacturers think larger women have ape-length arms, which just isn’t right and usually involves a lot of sleeve rolling.
Of course, the embroidery trend is everywhere at the moment and I absolutely love it because I wear so much black that a little pop of colour can make such a difference, plus it makes me feel just that little bit feminine. The addition of the studs is right up my street as it really ties in with my more alternative look, plus who doesn’t love studs right?! This faux leather jacket is a great length as, unlike most jackets, I seem to find it isn’t cropped and the cross over zipped fastening doesn’t look odd undone, a great thing as I rarely do up jackets.
I just absolutely love everything about this jacket and it’s such an affordable price.

I love the embroidery on the jacket, I have never seen anything like it on a faux leather jacket. The design is very pretty, I have a similar jacket but in plain black.

Forever 21 is such a great store. I can usually find something I love at an affordable price. I’m loving the jacket. With the leather look you can never go wrong and the embroidery is a beautiful touch!
