Ooo I could definitely use a pamper evening, I must make time for one soon, glad you had a good week x

  2. Aditi says:

I could totally use a relaxing and pampering time; thankfully I’m going on a short mid-week getaway with my partner tomorrow. So looking forward to it. This post also reminds me that I also started this ‘Five Things’ series on my blog last year but due constant traveling and moving permanently from one country to another this series took a back seat. Maybe I should revive it. 🙂

I love the zip line activity and that is so exciting for you. Best of luck with the gym activity the next week. Know you can do it.

  4. Niharika Roy Choudhury says:

Woww.. amazing…I could also use a pampering Eve… thanks for sharing…

  5. Joanna says:

I am annoyed by the rain as well. It seems like we are not lucky and we won’t be getting a real summer this year. Glad to hear you’ve finally booked the zipline.

  6. London Mumma says:

The London tour sounds brilliant. My mother has been dying to get us and my daughter to do it, but we are Londoners and think it is a waste, but it probably is amazing to be a tourist for a day in your city.

  7. Liza Perry says:

Ok I NEED that pampering relaxing time too haha
The rain has been also very present in Paris this summer 🙁

Great to know of time with friends over cocktails and meeting mum dad.. These small things gives so much of pleasure in life. All the best for Zip lining, I’ve loved it!

It is good that you had gone for dinner at your parent’s place. Also you had a London tour like a tourist with a lovely afternoon tea.

  11. Kailash Joshi says:

You had a good weekend, open top bus tour and a river cruise sounds amazing and yeah its always hard to continue gym while travelling but when i travel i prefer 15-30 minutes free weight squats, lunges and spot running.

  12. Kim says:

Sounds like a pretty busy week! Sometimes it’s great to be a tourist and explore the city. We had a huge zipline in Dubai for a while across the Dubai Fountain and I really regret never getting to go, so I’m a little bit jealous!

I liked this concept of writing down good or bad happened with you last week and jotting down the plans or goals for next week. It really keeps you organised, also writing down things helps you to process your emotions and clears your mind for more important things. Hope you’re able to complete the five goals for next week 🙂

I loved doing the river cruise in London last year it was such a great experience. I’m going back in October to partake in a 10 mile walk for charity crossing 12 bridges which will be fun. I need a pamper evening. Having a little baby takes it out of you!

I’m really wanting to have a go at the zip line too, although like you, I’d be really nervous. Sounds like you had a lovely week. Let’s hope the sun makes an appearance so it’s a bit brighter next week.
