On Tuesday evening I headed to Scala to catch Big Spring and The Xcerts and it was such a good night. I am a huge fan of Xcerts and it was great to see them play a venue of this size.
On Wednesday I headed back to Aqua Aerobics and then had dinner at my nan’s. I get all of my deliveries sent to my nan’s as well as there’s always someone in so it was like Christmas had come early.
On Thursday we had a nice lazy night in and cooked some steak and watched Father of the Bride two.
Saturday was when my other halves parents came home from holiday so we did a bit of cleaning and baking then relaxed catching up with them.
On Sunday I went sofa shopping to look for something new for my flat and I placed an order for a stunning charcoal pillow back corner sofa and I am so excited to get it delivered. I feel like such an adult making a purchase like this.
Five Great Things To Happen
Despite putting off watching the latest trailer I have my tickets booked for the Star Wars premiere in December and I am excited, especially as there’s a group of 9 of us heading to the Imax cinema to see it
I started properly prepping my Christmas gift guides ready for the first one to go live next week. I definitely feel prepared blog-wise for Christmas this year, not so much present wise though.
We booked our flights out to New York next March which means both of our flights are all booked and it’s becoming even more of a reality, woop. It’s only cost us £300 each return including baggage which I think is a steal.
I found a Nightmare Before Christmas sing-a-long showing in London the night before Christmas eve so I booked to go and I am so excited to see my favourite movie with like-minded people.
I’ve planned an evening for my parents to finally meet my other halves parents, only a year after being together *oops*. I really hope it goes well, although I’m sure it will.
Five Four Things Which Sucked
On Monday I really wasn’t feeling myself and had a little bit of a breakdown. I don’t tend to get emotional all that much but something just switched, but after some tears and long chats, I felt much better about everything.
An order of mine was returned to Marks and Spencer and I couldn’t re-order it because it was out of stock online, and apparently, the sales are online and not in store so I couldn’t even buy the item instore. Sadly the store staff were pretty rude and left me a bit annoyed.
We tried to make a mirror glaze cake over the weekend but it just didn’t seem to go to plan and it came out all wrong.
I’ve got a bit behind with trying out my comic con costume so I really hope it still comes out okay as I have less than 2 weeks to go now.
Five Things To Do Next Week
Book our Ragnarok tickets once my Meerkat movie code comes through
Buy a few bits for holiday in Westfield on Friday but try not to go too crazy with money
Find a nice restaurant to eat in when I’m in Brighton on Saturday
Start making lists for my packing for Italy as it will only be two weeks away by the weekend
Be confident when I go to a marketing event on Thursday and make sure I do communicate
That’s an innovative way to look at life for sure. When I was younger I had a list of ten eventful things in a day adn wrote them down in the diary. It was fun doing it as it was memorabl!
I have commented on a few of these posts but I think it’s a really nice idea and a good way to keep track of what you’ve been doing! Maybe I should start as well. I should also be inspired and go to aqua aerobics! It’s so much fun but I haven’t been in years!
Oh no 🙁 I do hope that you are feeling better now! Can’t wait to see your Christmas guides next week, I definitely need some inspiration that is for sure!
I hope things are much better now. I can relate about having moments … I actually had a major break down recently because I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I couldn’t stop crying and getting depressed. I wish all goes well from here on out and all the positive vibes your way. xx
Ooh exciting about the flights to New York – and what a bargain too! I am hoping to go for my 30th in 2019 🙂 We booked our tickets for Star Wars this week too!
Sounds like you have a social and fun life… New York will be super fun and I’m sure you’ll love it! Oh, and I’ll be sure to check out your Xmas guides when they’re complete, I could use some inspiration ; )
An inspiring blog Rhian, it motivates you to try out different things and inspires others who may think, ‘that’s an idea, must try that!’ And New York sounds amazing.
What a fun way of sharing what you’ve been doing! I am sure it makes you wanna do even more so you can write about it! I should probably try that. I’ve been working a lot lately and haven’t done much but I have a few fun things planned for the weekend!
I have avoided watching the latest Star Wars trailer too! I feel like it would ruin it for me as I have some big theories about Rae. I’ve booked the day off work for it haha.
I like your lists. They show you accomplished a lot more than you realise. Well done! It shows that you are focused on accomplishing your tasks. And whilst the week wasn’t perfect (that’s life) you had a glorious week!
You have so many positives and so many great things coming up to look forward to. Not least that amazing trip!! I wish I was so organised, in my real life and blog life!!

Eekk to booking your tickets how exciting! but what a shame about Marks and Spencers, you would think they would have good customer service.
