Ever since I first moved into my flat I have had a slimline pop-up Christmas tree. When I first bought it, it worked perfectly for the space and it was already decorated so I only had to add a few bits on there. Now though I am yearning for something a bit more proper, I want a full-sized tree, one I can spend hours decorating and that will make my space feel even more Christmassy.
Now the very first thing I need for my festival decoration is, of course, a Christmas tree and in an ideal world I would have something stunning like this Blue Mountain Spruce tree from Cox and Cox as it’s a beautiful seven-foot tree with over 2,700 frosted sage tips so it won’t be all thin and lifeless like some of the ones you see from Argos and such places. It looks so full and realistic that I know I would be able to fill it with beautiful decorations, lights and tinsel to make my flat feel really Christmassy.
I have wanted a wreath for a long time but seeing as I live in a flat where less people would see it it wouldn’t really work on my door so I’d be looking for something to go above my hallway table inside. For this reason, I would want something pretty subtle so this Anter wreath from Cox and Cox would be perfect. In the image small lights have been added around the wreath and I would do the same thing as I think it really makes it stand out.
As something to wrap around the above wreath, I found these jewelled twig lights which are beautiful, so much so that I’d definitely have them up all year round if I had my way. You can bend the copper wire into any shape and they stay so I know they’d be awesome on a wreath and the warm white LED lights would really light up my flat.
My living room is themed with a copper colouring and I have a few copper stars hanging around on top of some units so these copper wire stars with naked wire lights would make a welcome addition alongside them. In the Winter time, I think fairy lights make such a lovely atmosphere and I tend to have them on quite often, although the great thing about these is that they have a timer function so I know there’s so no chance I’d forget and leave them on all night.
I love your festive decoration ideas. I think some auction tips would improve my own assortment of decorations. I really want that antler wreath in my living room.
I really like the copper wire stars, they’d look great around my log burner!

What some gorgeous Christmas picks, I am loving the antler wreath that is absolutely amazing, I totally want one for myself now.
Are there Christmas trees places that sell live trees in Britain? We used two fake trees ourselves but at old job,we sold live trees and this has me curious.
Yes loads of places sell real Christmas trees but for me it isn’t practical x

Aaaah Christmas is coming! I cannot wait! These are beautiful choices too.
Everything is so pretty! We have a fireplace for the first time in our new house and I can’t wait to decorate it.
The copper light up stars are lovely. I adore Christmas decorations and buy at least 5 new ones a year lol. You can never have too many right? I love the smell of real trees but with all the pines they drop they just aren’t practical. This tree looks like a great compromise.
I need the Twig Light Up Garlands in my life! They are the cutest Christmas I’ve seen so far this year, I will definitely be getting these on pay day
oh my, everything please! I’ve never seen a twig garland before. that would go well with my twig lights I have
That Antler wreath is absolutely gorgeous! I’m so bad about waiting until the last minute to try and decorate so this was a great reminder to start planning now!
I love the copper stars so much. I love decorating my house for Christmas. It looks like Cox and Cox have lots of gorgeous decorations.
I love the choices you have made. We have a lovely big hallway for the first time this year, so I’d love a big 7-foot tree too. I’m absolutely in love with the Antler Wreath – I think I’m going to have to order it right now! (Hope you don’t mind me copying!)
Whoa! I can really feel the festive season. Loving the Twig Lights. You can definitely have it hanging even after the festive season.
You’re making me feel so festive. I love our Christmas tree, it’s fake but its lovely and we decorate it Red and Gold every year. I was thinking we need a change but as it’s taken me 5 years to get the coverage with these colours I think I’m gonna have to stick with it!
Oh that antler wreath is gorgeous! We’ve moved from a new house to a period one this year so I’m really looking forward to getting to properly decorate for Christmas.
Those copper wire stars are beautiful and I’d love to have them in my living room!

Fairy lights are high on my list. I put them everywhere.
Love the jewelled twig lights they are really beautiful! Would look great in my living room!
Somehow I have a thing for lighted up decors … not only are they festive, it feels like it brightens up the mood. I absolute adore the Faux Antler Wreath!!!! It’s perfect and I am adding it to my wishlist for our little one’s nursery. Once it outgrows the setting I can add it to my home office. 😉
I think the Anter wreath is very pretty – it looks so realistic I had to go check if it was real! I think adding a few lights is a great touch, it creates such lovely shadows.
