Over Monday and Tuesday I had quite relaxing evenings which was much needed. I watched some more of the second season of 13 reason why.
On Wednesday evening I went to Tooting to take part in The Big London Bake which is inspired by The Great British Bake Off. I was partnered with another blogger and we made a peppermint and white chocolate tart which won us second place.
On Thursday I went and got my nails redone with a beautiful red/ pink shimmer shade and I am so happy with them. It’s amazing how much difference getting your nails done can make.
On Friday evening I finally got to see Taylor Swift as she played her first night at Wembley Stadium and the show was absolutely amazing from the set list and costumes through to the stage design.
On Saturday we headed to Aberystwyth to where Luke’s sister goes to university to see her ahead of her birthday. We had some nice food and sunshine and got to enjoy the sunshine over the whole weekend as we stayed in a beautiful B&B on Saturday night.
Five Great Things To Happen
Somehow I managed to lose 3 pounds at Slimming World this week which has made me really happy and spurred me on for the next week.
I bought an e-book from Jenna Farmer about pitching to brands and I am so excited to properly sit down and devour this and start pitching to companies and brands more.
I managed to add a whole load more things to eBay which is great as it means I am slowly but surely clearing out my spare bedroom.
I booked flights for mine and Luke’s trip to Cologne in December and I am so excited as I don’t feel like I’ve done very much travelling this year but it’s another trip I can tick off my list.
I have started to put together a realistic budget plan for the next few years when me and Luke are looking to buy a house and it just feels that little more real.
Five Things Which Sucked
I had a couple of pretty late night’s this week with events and shows so I was definitely a little tired by the weekend.
There were loads of issues on the Northern Line on Wednesday evening which meant my journey to Tooting was a little more panicked and crowded than it should have been.
I spent a little more than I’d have liked this week so I had to take a little out of my savings which is not something I want to do as those savings are for house things.
I’m waiting on a bunch of payments to come through from work I’ve done and although they aren’t overdue as such I am itching for them to come through so I can pay some bits off.
As I was away at the weekend I haven’t had a chance to go to the post office and post some bits yet so I’m going to need to do that this week.
Five Things To Do This Week
Try not to eat and drink too much over the weekend as I have loads of plans so I need to try and be a little good.
Take as many images as possible so I can start scheduling more of the posts which I have written.
Do any form of exercise this week as I have been so bad over the past few weeks.
Finish adding all of the items in my spare room to Ebay so I can try and get the room looking a little more organised.
Start making a pitching plan for both my blog and freelance work.
Funnily enough a blogger also spoke to me about the Big London Bake and she said that it is a lot of fun! So congratulations on getting second place amazing work.
Sounds like you have had such a good week, I love how you make a plan to travel and your next stop is Cologne at the same time you are also looking into the future by budgeting.

The London Bake Off sounds like so much fun, congratulations on winning the second place! I haven’t done much this week, just recovering after a week spend in Italy and eating way too much.
