Christmas Party Wishlist From Fashion World
It’s kind of scary to think about outfits for Christmas parties but for most of us those parties start from right now, my work winter party is actually tomorrow so I’ve just dusted off a dress from last year to wear but there are so many more events to plan for. I have a get together with my girls, I have various family ones and nights out with other friends around Christmas so finding the right outfits are always a must for me.
Before I think about the actual outfits I like to think about footwear, especially as I am pretty rubbish when it comes to heels. If I’m going to be sitting down having a meal I might just about be okay but anything where I’m on my feet for more than 10 minutes and I struggle. I always find ankle boots quite a good option as they’re comfortable, even if you have a small chunky heel but they’re also practical considering it’s pretty cold. Fashion World has some great options when it comes to ankle boots. Two of my favourites includes the studded edge Chelsea boots (£30) and these leopard print boots (£25) as they would really stand out against a plainer outfit.
Fashion World sell a lot of brands on their site and I’m really loving the plus-sized Quiz collection at the moment as there are so many gorgeous dresses which would work for the party season. This zigzag glitter t-shirt dress (£30) looks like it would be so comfortable to wear but also has so much sparkle on it so it would be great for a meal out where you don’t want anything restrictive on. This diamond glitter dip back midi dress (£35) definitely has the sparkle factor and it’s such a flattering length that I wouldn’t be constantly pulling down the bottom to ensure it covers my bum.
As I am a huge fan of anything star print this Black Star Sequin Swing Dress (£60) is right up my street and is the ultimate sparkly dress for Christmas. I love how it has long sleeves so I wouldn’t need to worry about wearing a jacket with it in order to cover the tops of my arms which I am quite insecure about. But sometimes you just don’t want to wear a dress which is why I love this Stretch Jersey Glitter Maxi Skirt (£35) as you can just throw on a plain or lace white top and you’re sorted but it’s not too fancy to wear to a more casual Christmas event.
If the event is a little more casual and I know I want to stay comfortable it’s the standard jeans and a nice top outfit and this Silver all Over Sequin Top (£40) would look great with black skinny jeans and this Quiz Zig Zag Glitter Top (£28) is the top version of the t-shirt dress I mentioned earlier so a definite statement piece.

Thanks for sharing this list. Christmas parties are the hardest for me to get dressed up for. It takes forever to find the perfect outfit. I think the zigzag glitter t-shirt dress would be great for a New Year’s party.
