Five Reasons Why I Love My Leesa Mattress

*We were given a double Leesa mattress in exchange for an
honest review so all thoughts and opinions are my own

One of the things which filled me with dread about moving to my parents was our mattress situation as we couldn’t take our mattress from home as we have a king size and we’d be moving into a double. Thankfully the team at Leesa helped us to solve that by sending us a double Leesa mattress so we could sleep in comfort during our year (or so) long stint at my parents.

Here are some of the reasons why I love our Leesa mattress:

Getting the perfect mattress: It is practical and arrives vacuum sealed in a box

Mattresses in a box are so practical as we’re moving into the loft bedroom at my parents. The thought of trying to drag and full sized mattress up two flights of stairs fills me with dread. But having it vacuum sealed in a box made the whole ordeal so much easier. The mattress arrived at my parents when me and Luke were at work and it was so easy for my parents to store it in the hallway ready for us to come round. Once out of the box you can put it on the bed and leave it for a few hours to fully inflate. We actually left it for a few days as we weren’t staying there straight away.

The three different foam levels leave a comfortable sleep for all

Between me and Luke we love different types of mattresses. I’m more of a firmer fan and he prefers a softer mattress you can sink into, but we’ve both agreed that the Leesa mattress is the best we’ve had. The mattress has three layers of foam with a bottom 15cm Support Form layer which provides the firmness and support for your body. Then there’s a 5cm Memory Foam layer which is the bit which moulds to the shape of your body for comfort. Finally it’s topped with a 5cm Avena Foam layer which gives that little bounce and then allows air flow around keeping you cool.

I always thought a foam mattress wouldn’t be as good as an air sprung mattress but I am fully converted and wouldn’t go back after this. It’s so important to get a good mattress as back-ache can cause so much pain.

The Leesa Mattress: It’s great at maintaining a temperature

With the top later of Avena Foam it really does maintain the temperature in our bed and keep the air flow. Luke is like a radiator and after about 20 minutes under the duvet he is red hot despite the fact that we sleep with a fan on every single night (even when it snows!) But the Leesa mattress helps regulate that so it stays snuggly and warm but doesn’t overheat. This is something I didn’t get along with our older mattresses as I’d feel warm and sweaty even in the winter months.

The mattress is such good value for money

The double mattress costs just £650 with the singles starting from £450 and compared to other brands I’ve had in the past the quality you get is far higher than the price you pay. As the brand is online exclusively and doesn’t have shops or masses of sales staff to pay they can afford to offer a premium luxury mattress without the matching premium price tag.

Not sure which mattress to go for? You get a 100-night guarantee

There aren’t many other companies who will allow you to try an item out for 100 days and return it if you’re not happy but you can with Leesa. They’re so confident that you’ll love the mattress that if you’re not 100% happy they’ll take it back from you and any mattresses set back are donated to charity so they’re doing their bit.

If you’re debating about buying a new mattress then I could not recommend Leesa enough and you can get a massive £100 off by using my code ‘RHIANWESTBURY’.
