Trying Something New – Immersive Dining With Gingerline

Gingerline immersive dining

AD – I was invited to experience Chambers by Gingerline in
exchange for content. But all thoughts and opinions are my own

Immersive dining is something I’ve never experienced before. For me if I’m going to have dinner then it’s very much a sit down at a table kind of affair. But I’m all up for trying new experiences which is where Gingerline come in. I’d actually heard great things about their immersive dining as my friend had been to one of their previous events.

Chambers is the latest theme to come from Gingerline, and it’s about the multi-verse. Now the main thing about this kind of immersive dining is the mystery surrounding it. You don’t even know the exact location of where you’re going until a few hours before you arrive. All I knew before the day was it would be around Hoxton. But at 4pm I got a text with some directions on where to go which were thankfully very easy to follow. I’m not usually good with maps and directions.

On arrival we had our welcome drink and it gave me and my friend some time to catch up. During the experience there’s a point where you can get drinks delivered to you. So just make sure you order these at the bar before you enter.  The actual experience I can’t really talk about too much because it’s a total mystery. There’s no photo taking once you’re inside, it’s very much an event to experience as opposed to taking photos for Instagram in. During the experience we had five dining dimensions, each totally different from each other.

Much like not knowing the location beforehand, the menu is also a mystery. As someone who is a little picky with food I did worry a bit, but I got stuck in and had some wonderful food. Although I’d say go into this kind of thing with an open mind, and ready to try things. You never know what new wonders your tastebuds are going to experience. And the event are great at catering for people with allergies or food preferences. We had both someone with a shellfish allergy and a vegetarian in our group. And both were catered for brilliantly.

One thing I would say is you might want to speak to them beforehand if you have any mobility issues. A few of the experiences involved crawling, jumping down off something etc so if you’re not 100% sure then reach out to them beforehand. I absolutely loved the theming of the different sections, and I’m amazed how someone’s mind came up with this all.

There’s a lot I can’t tell you, but what I can say is that I had a great time. I had no idea what to expect that but was exciting and it was unlike any dining experience I’ve had before. Each destination and world is themed brilliantly, the staff who work there do any incredible job and I did get to eat some tasty dishes.

If you’re looking for something a little unusual and aren’t too picky with your food, then this is for you. But be quick they’re only booking until September. You can book tickets here.

Now that sounds kinda interesting, immersive dining. Will probably try it out of curiosity and we’ll see if I like what I’ll discover.

Never heard of something like this before but it sounds amazing and lots of fun. I’m a fussy eater with specific dietary needs so good to know they cater well for those with different dietary needs.

Yeah I think they cater very well for dietary needs, but you need to be a little open-minded with the food x
