Father’s Day is going to be a strange one this year. While we may not be on full lockdown by then, things aren’t going to be back to normal. And for some people with older dad’s, we still may not be able to see them. But that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate (as much as we can!) For Mother’s Day we had Skype up and ate dinner together with my nan and auntie in their own house. And we played games and opened presents on camera. It’s not quite the same but it’s something. If you’re looking to buy a gift you can send directly here are five Fathers Day gifts you can order online.
To start with is this Teeth Whitening Kit* from Man Behind The Mirror. I’ve been intrigued by teeth whitening kits myself. And I know my dad has as he’s conscious to have a bright smile before my brother’s wedding next year.
The kit is designed to visibly whiten your teeth in just 10 minutes. You get a bespoke mouth guard and tray, LED emitting activation light, and a month’s supply of the gel. And it ensures zero sensitivity on the teeth which I’m very happy about. The gel has core ingredients which have been proven to fight off stains and whiten teeth.
I’m excited to give this a go so keep an eye on my Instagram stories for my progress.
If your dad is a bit of a traveller, or just likes a good holiday then check out El Camino*. It starts with a cord bracelet which comes in various lengths, colours and styles. Then it’s about picking the beads you want. The silver beads have locations on them so you can pick somewhere special for your dad. For mine, I picked Edinburgh where me and Luke got engaged, and Venice which was our favourite trip.
You can also choose coloured beads to represent the sea’s and oceans to add a little colour. My green one is the Carribean as it’s a location we love. And I’m sure we’ll be going back to sometime soon. The great thing about a bracelet like this is you can buy a starter and then get different beads for birthday’s/ Christmas’ etc.
My dad loves a good shirt when he goes out but it can be hard to find one which a great fit all over. With Hockerty* you can input measurements to get the perfect shirt. This includes chest sizes, arm lengths and collar size. If you’re not 100% sure of the exact sizes by filling in some measurements you can get recommended sizes.
There are so many designs and colours to choose for your shirt starting at £42. I opted for a classic white and blue stripe as I know it’s something my dad will love. The material feels like really good quality. And it came packaged in a lovely branded bag. A great gift for someone who loves a good shirt.
Perhaps you’re looking to make a snack hamper and want something a bit different. Or maybe your dad is vegan and you’re looking for some yummy treats. Mummy Meagz (MM) is someone who has dedictaed her life to making hand-crafted indulgent vegan snacks. The bars are ‘Free From’ 13 of 14 major allergens. But they don’t taste healthy in the way you’d expect.
I have some of the Sea Salt & Cinder Toffee Rocky Road Bars* which are both crispy and gooey at the same time. They are a great snack to have and aren’t too sickly which I sometimes find with vegan snacks.
You can’t go wrong with some good old Haribo for your dad. As the slogan says ‘Kids and Grown Ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo’. My dad has such a sweet tooth so I always get him chocolate and sweets for any occassion. He pretends we’ll make them last, but the treats never do.
Whenever you’re doing your online shop you can add a box of these to your order and Father’s Day is covered.
