Whether you’re an established blogger or a relative newbie, there are always things to learn. Times change and things there’s always more to learn. I’m always game to learn new things and that’s why I wanted to share the blogging courses that are worth the money. I’ve done quite a few courses over the years from general blogging ones to making money and freelance writing. Even on the courses which I’ve done later down the line, there have always been things to learn. If you want to make money from your blog or drive traffic to it it’s worth investing in some resources to help guide you.
Monica’s blogging course was pretty much the first course I took. And I’d say it’s still the best course I’ve done as there was so much information I took from it and practising. Unlike some other courses where I’ve devoured the content over a few days. But this one is released weekly to give you time to read the module, make notes, and action changes.
The 12- week course features modules on creating a niche, working with brands, press trips, networking, increasing readership and so much more. There are things I took from this course like creating a report to send to brands after working together that I still do. While this is a generalised course it’s definitely one of the blogging courses that are worth the money. It covers a lot but the information and tips inside are very specific and detailed.
Another of the blogging courses that are worth the money is this one from Emma Drew. Emma runs multiple blogs including EmmaDrew.info and her blogs maker her a six-figure income.
Turn Your Dreams Into Money is a well-rounded course touching on the basics of blogging from niches, WordPress, and branding through to hints and tips to supercharge your earnings. I completed this course after blogging for quite a few years and I found myself nodding along to plenty of bits. But I also finished the course with a list of things to do/ research/ look into.
Emma started blogging a decade ago chronicling her online money-making adventures. And by 2015 she was earning more from her blog than in her full-time job so she quit. Now her blogging income has grown and she’s employed her husband to work alongside her.
The step-by-step guide touches on pretty much everything you need for your blog including your limitless earning potential.
Another one from Emma which I bought about 6-8 weeks ago and have been following ever since. Emma loves creating new blogs purely for the purpose of making money and has shared her plan and tips. After doing the course I upgraded my hosting, bought two new domains, and made a start. My new blogs are DA17 and DA11 in less than two months which I am so happy about.
This isn’t a course if you’re looking to build a brand or develop your business as such. This is purely a money-making tool which is great to do alongside your main blog. 90 days to a profitable blog is one of the easiest courses I’ve done to actually act on.
Not this isn’t exactly a course, it’s an e-book. But I thought I’d still include it in my blogging courses that are worth the money as it’s been a help to me. Jenna is a blogger and freelance writer and her e-books have so much value to them. Blog to Business: Your Pitching Toolkit is all about how to pitch yourself to work with brands. There’s so much useful info in the e-book including worksheets, tracking pages, info on offering packages, and tips on the process from planning a pitch to an email template.
I never really pitched to brands before I read Jenna’s e-book. And while I don’t do it loads now it is something I’ve tried more and more. The info is practicable, relatable and definitely one of the blogging courses that are worth the money. Even if the course isn’t quite the right description!
I’ve just finished reading Jenna’s latest ebook ‘The Freelance Writing Toolkit‘ which is all about freelance writing. This is an area I want to do more in and there were some great tips and tricks in the e-book. So if you want to get into freelance writing it’s worth a go!
There are a lot of different courses out there, the few I’ve mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg. I know that I’ll always continue to learn and grow throughout my blogging journey. And these courses and e-books are just here to help along the way.

I’ve never heard of any of these but I really love the sound of Moncia Stott’s course. I’ve been blogging for ten years now and find there’s still so much I need to learn – for example I don’t know the first thing about press trips (or getting myself an invite!)
I’d also recommend Lyrical Host’s Navigating SEO course – I’m quite wary of parting money for courses (especially as most stuff you can find with your own research) but this is really comprehensive and well worth the money!

I’m very similar to you, I have been blogging for 6-7 years now but even then there’s so much I have to learn. I’m been very wary paying much but most of these ones are very cheap (other than Monica’s- but I split that one over 3 payments) x
Even as an old timer blogger, there is always something to learn about blogging! I’ve never really considered courses before, but I can see how they would totally help… I need to look into these properly! Sim
These courses do sound like they are worth my time and money. I would really want to learn how to start a blog using WordPress, but it just seems too technical for me. I will bookmark this post and check on these links you provided. Thank you so much!
WordPress really isn’t that technical, you can make it as simple as you want and there’s so much guidance out there to help x
I’ve heard good things about all of these courses. I’d like to do a course in food styling. My friends say I don’t need it but I think we could always get better at what we do.
Your food photos are great, but I do always think there’s things we can learn so I’m sure you’d pick up even more tips x
These sound really good! I will have to take a look into these. And I really like the sound of sending the brand you work with a report after finishing.
Most of them are pretty cheap as well which is always good as I get worried about investing too much money sometimes x
I have found that most blogging courses are not worth the money because they just tell you the basics that are available for free anyway. It’s good to know that there are few good courses though!
Yeah it really is about picking the right one which is going to give you something extra x
Thank you so much for sharing these I have been looking at using the quiet down time as work has been so quiet to give my blog a boost so I am definitely going to check these out! I think the blogging world is always evolving and so there is always something new to learn!
I recently had a blog audit from Jenna Farmer and she gave me so many tips and advice, which I will be implementing over the next few days. Will be checking out the other courses you have recommended to.
I have her blog audit on my to-do list for later in the year when we’ve moved properly and I have more time to invest in it! x
I am someone that wants to take my blog to the next level now! So I think these courses may help me, I will have a look into them!
These all sound interesting, I will certainly look into them when I have some more time, as I am finding it harder to earn from my blog at the moment
These all sound great. I especially love the idea of the weekly one. I’m going to take a closer look.
I’ve done the other three so I think I need to check out Monica’s course – it sounds really great and something I could learn from.
