Everybody deals with the occasional bout of dull skin, and if you are constantly waking up to skin that could benefit from more than just a few face masks, we’ve got plenty of options. Let’s show you some ways to rejuvenate your face.

Rejuvenate Your Facial Skin- Add a Serum

Face serums have amazing ingredients that can brighten up your skin and reduce the signs of ageing. Serums also absorb quickly, meaning you can apply them after cleansing and reap the benefits. There are products that contain Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, and resveratrol, but you may also want to have a look at a face serum made with cannabigerol, which can reduce potential triggers on your skin and soothe it, making it an ideal choice for people with sensitive skin.

Incorporate Exfoliation Into Your Routine

If you want a glowing complexion, you need to exfoliate on a regular basis. When dead skin cells build from the outside, this is what can clog your pores and make everything look dull and dry. Exfoliating at least twice a week can make a big difference, but be careful if your skin gets irritated. You can either try exfoliating brushes or use chemical exfoliators that include alpha-hydroxy acids or beta hydroxy acids, and always remember to add moisturiser after exfoliation to lock in the moisture.

Rejuvenate Your Facial Skin- Stimulate Collagen

Retinoids which are derived from Vitamin A have been shown to stimulate collagen growth, which is vital for your skin. A retinoid treatment can bring new skin cells to the surface and fill out the top layer of skin cells. With this type of treatment, make sure you apply retinoid at least two nights a week and increase the frequency to meet your own needs.

Moisturising With the Right Product

Regular use of moisturiser on your face can protect and repair the skin barrier by drawing in water due to ingredients hyaluronic acid, and can also prevent the loss of moisture. Again, two is the magic number here, but you have to moisturise twice a day. Make it part of your morning and night-time routine.

Avoiding Harsh Soaps and Hot Water

And many people talk about the benefits of ice water these days. When you use really hot water, it dries out your skin as it strips your natural oils. Opt for lukewarm water, but you can also try ice water to make blood flow to the surface. And when using soap, you’ve got to find ones without chemicals.

Rejuvenate Your Facial Skin- Be Gentle

You’ve got to avoid scrubbing your skin harshly. You need to make sure that you’ve removed everything from your face at the end of the day but you’ve got to do it gently. Soaps and harsh scrubs can cause skin irritation and flaky skin. You always need to start out by using a cleansing oil to remove any makeup without damaging the top layer of the skin and then wash with a gentle cleanser to remove any oils.

Rejuvenating your face? There are many options, just as long as you know the right ones for you, you can see the difference in your skin.
