Five Of The Best Things I’ve Bought Recently

Five Of The Best Things I’ve Bought Recently

I am a self-confessed shopaholic and I am always buying things be that going to the shops after work or ordering things online so I always have a host of delights to use and try out which is where this post has come from as I had some things I just had to tell the world about.

Silicone Brush – Primark

This might seem like the most boring thing but my god has it been amazing. At full price they retail for £1.50 but they seem to be selling them off for cheap at 50p (probably because most people think what use is a silicone brush?!) I thought that initially until I got home and had a brain wave, I could use it for face masks. Now I love sheet masks as much as the next person but I never feel that they have as many benefits on my skin as a proper face mask but I put them off because they’re messy. This silicone brush means I can smother my face with a face mask without getting my hands messy which is a godsend.

Tangle Teezer Compact

I absolutely love my tangle teezer and always use it when brushing my hair but it can get a little tricky to take away on holiday as the bristles get caught in clothing or bent. This is where the newer compact version comes in. It isn’t much smaller than the original but it has a protective base which clips in meaning it doesn’t get caught on things it shouldn’t and it doesn’t get damaged when thrown in a suitcase to go away. Now I have my at home one and my travel one.

Anastasia Glow kit

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Sundipped – Sephora

The second I got home from New York I regretted not buying this at the time because even though I’m not a huge highlighter fanatic I knew this was good quality product and the shades were beautiful. I decided to place an online order as I wanted some other products and had to make a shade decision going on swatches online and I am so glad with the choice I made. There are two lighter but highly pigmented shades, there’s a darker highlighter and a bronze highlighter and I have to say I am in love. For your money you get so much product but because you don’t need much to use I know it’s going to last a long time.

Men and Cats Book – Amazon

This kind of needs no real explanation really but on each double page spread of this book there’s a man on one side posing, then on the other side there’s a cat pulling the same pose. There’s beautiful men and cute cats so whatever mood I’m in there’s something in here to make me smile. It’s crazy how much random stuff is made but this is a great purchase and pretty much the epitome of single female but oh well.

LED Mirror

Full-Length Mirror Cabinet With LED Lights – The Range

The full-length mirror which is currently in my bedroom is attached to a door on my wardrobe and isn’t really in a position within my bedroom where I can see myself properly in it or it has enough light to be useful so I’d been looking for a freestanding one for a while. This one from The Range is spot on amazing not only is it a great size without being too bulky but it has LED lights the whole way round which are powered by batteries so no need for pesky trailing wires. But also there’s incredible storage inside designed for jewellery with so many hooks and shelves and rows upon rows of ring storage it’s going to look amazing once I’ve filled it.

Whats the best thing you’ve bought recently?
