On Wednesday me and Luke went to my parents to have dinner and it was nice to sit in the garden and catch up along with the fact that we didn’t have to cook for ourselves.
On Thursday I had a relaxing night in as Luke was out and I binged watched some of the old seasons of The Great British Bake off and just chilled.
After a busy week at work I had Friday off work and I just had a day of catching up with some shopping, taking some images and just relaxing again.
On Saturday morning we drove down to South Devon to stay at Cuckoo Down Farm in a Safari Tent and it was such a relaxing two and a bit days where we didn’t do too much.
Over Saturday afternoon we headed into the local town to find a pub and watch the football and it was such a good atmosphere watching with all the locals.
Five Great Things To Happen
At work we’ve had quite a few people off and it’s been really valuable for me as it’s given me a chance to properly get stuck into everything, learn more and really build a relationship with other teams in our office.
Heathers have announced that the show is carrying on and moving to another theatre in September after the summer shows all selling out and I am so happy that I managed to get a ticket for the show.
I bought my first item to keep for when we move. Now I know that this won’t be for about 18 months- 2 years but the ladder style shelf I bought was such a good deal I couldn’t miss out on it.
I’ve managed to get booked in for my next tattoo with an artist in a London studio and I am so excited as it’s something I’ve wanted for ages. I’m not going to get it done until September but it gives me time to save.
As the sun was out all weekend I was able to take a few images while I was away both for products I had taken with me and some outfit images.
Five Things Which Sucked
I bought two pairs of pretty sandals and both pairs just aren’t right on my feet and I am a bit gutted as I loved the look of them online.
Despite the fact that I only sat out in the sunshine for literally a few minutes I managed to burn the top of my back so it’s all bright red which isn’t good. Thankfully it doesn’t hurt but it might take some time to go down.
We still haven’t finished the second season of Luke Cage as we’ve had so much on and I am craving to finish it as the season has been so good.
I had a dress come through which looked beautiful on the model online but when I tried it on it looked like a shapeless sack which reminded me of my nan’s nightie; definitely not a good look.
I know I’ve been pretty bad with my diet this week but that’s all about to change when me and start start doing some leaner eating together.
Five Things To Do This Week
Finalise all content from my weekend away glamping in Devon.
Start preparing leaner lunches and dinners in a bid to be better with both mine and Luke’s food.
Go out during lunch time when I am working in London on Friday. Usually I spend the whole time in the office but as I’ll be in Camden it would be good to head out.
Take some Instagram images ready for a campaign I’ll be starting soon.
Start looking at my advanced journalism course which I have bought and make a start on the first module.
That Safari tent looks awesome! And I’m with you on binge-watching the Great British Bake Off…my husband and I love it (we just started watching another season, although I don’t know the season number as the season numbers here in the States are askew from yours for some reason). I totally relate to the sunburn, too–way to easy for me to get burned. I hope next week is a fabulous one.
Oh wow you’re going glamping?? Would like to do that, too. We already have a tent, but I am not sure where we can go with the kids around. I want them to experience that, too. 😀
The weather has been gorgeous recently, hasn’t it? It’s currently raining where I am and it was so unexpected, but nice to have a cooler day I think. More sunshine this weekend though, please 🙂
Lovely recap!! I do enjoy these. Glamping I’ve always wanted to do, I should actually look into doing that next month! Ladder shelves are beautiful so I don’t blame you for snapping one up
Totally loving your hat in the last photo, sorry to hear that the sandals did not fit you and you have burned your skin. Hopefully the coming week will be much better for you.

You lead such an active life! I don’t know how you pack so much awesomeness into every week like this 🙂 Love these posts!
I want to know more about this Safari Tent! It sounds like you’ve had an exciting week again!

Glamping in Devon looks so serene. I love the interior it’s gorgeous. I bet you are super hyped to get your new tattoo next week too!
Cuckoo Down Farm sounds lovely and I hate it when things you fall in love with online don’t fit when they arrive
That safari tent looks amazing! And hold the phone, but Heathers at the theatre? I loved the film so I need to find out more!
This week proved inefficient due to health issues with less work and more sleep… You had a great analysis of work done.

The advanced journalism course sounds fun! I did a journalism degree at university.
I have had a hard time with my diet this week too – here’s to a better week next week! 🙂
Oh wow I love glamping and the look of the safari tent! I’ve never stayed in one before, but it’s on the wishlist 🙂
What have I done last week? Oh yeah we went to Luxembourg to enjoy the tranquil chalets! Wish you next week to be as bright as the last one!
