On Monday evening I headed to my fourth gig in a row and this time it was to see Gorillaz at the O2 Arena which was a lot of fun. It was really nice to see a show which was a bit different.
As my boyfriend’s been working a lot and having to travel down to Brighton I headed to his on Tuesday evening where we had dinner, chilled with his parents and just relax.
On Friday we had a lazy night in and finished watching The Punisher alongside making a nice healthy dinner.
Thankfully as Saturday was snow free I managed to have a London day with my best friend which included a trip to the Greenwich Observatory and Planetarium and afternoon tea at Biscuiteers in Notting Hill.
I hadn’t planned to do much on Sunday anyway but the snow would have stopped my plans anyway so I had a lazy day in catching up with things, wrapping Christmas presents, watching a Christmas movie and re-watching The Force Awakens ready for Wednesday night.
Five Great Things To Happen
I lost another 2.5 pounds at Slimming World this week which meant I got my half stone award in 2 weeks. To say I am over the moon is an understatement, it makes it so worth being good when you get the results.
I took my first batch of Christmas presents to my nan’s where I will be giving them out and slowly my flat is starting to look like my own again.
I’ve pretty much wrapped all my Christmas presents which I am very happy about. My flat doesn’t resemble an elves workshop quite so much anymore.
I booked tickets to my first Ice Hockey match when I am in New York next year at Madison Square Gardens and I am so excited. I saw baseball last year which was super boring and I can’t wait for this one.
I also booked the hotel for when me and my boyfriend head to Luxembourg for a long weekend in February. I am excited to get away and we got a very nice hotel to have a relax.
Five Things Which Sucked
There seems to be an issue with the seal or something on my shower cubicle as it’s not shutting properly so I need to look into this asap.
Due to the snow, I wasn’t able to head out and collect some post from my nan’s which is annoying as it contains some blog stuff
I couldn’t find a copy of Pitch Perfect anywhere online to watch or stream on Friday night which was a shame as I’d finally got my boyfriend to agree to watch it.
I made the silly mistake of going to Debenhams on Oxford Street on Saturday to get a bag for my nan to give my auntie and it was complete hell and they didn’t have the right one in stock and now it’s no longer online either.
An order I have with Next has been delayed again and I am really hoping it arrives before Christmas as it’s a present for my boyfriend’s dad.
Five Things To Do Next Week
Take the rest of my Christmas presents to my nan’s where I give mine out
Make a shopping list for any baking things I need ready for my Christmas Eve baking
Enjoy my day off after seeing Star Wars and try to do something festive
Despite having a few nights out/ meals try and be good with my food choices so that I lose at Slimming World
Find somewhere nice to go for a meal before my friend’s birthday night out at the weekend
I love your Five Things posts. I’m so envious that you’ve wrapped everything, I need to get going with that. I can’t wait to see what you think of Luxembourg. It’s somewhere I don’t know anything about so I’m intrigued as to how you find it.
How amazing that you were able to go for some afternoon tea and it is wonderful that you got to see Gorillaz in concert. I listened to them growing up so I am definitely jealous x
Love a good afternoon tea and this one looks incredible! Well done with Slimming World, you’re smashing it! I’ve been ill for most of the week and then the snow just ruined everything – between the electric tripping, internet just not co operating and then the breaks on the car went! But thankfully we were able to get a Tesco order in so that’s something.
So many congratulations on your weight loss! I’ve read a number of people online who say they’re following the program and getting great results. What are you going to bake on Christmas Eve? Any family traditions? x
It looks like you had a busy week, even if you spent a lazy Sunday. The Luxembourg trip sounds very exciting, I was supposed to go there a few years ago but because their airport has closed down for refurbishment, I went to Malta instead.
I love reading your five things posts! I have also managed to get all of my wrapping done and I can’t wait to drop all of the presents off so I have space again! Also congratulations on the weight loss, well done you! The Gorillaz! I’m so jealous I would love to see them.
I love the Punisher! Great show! I haven’t seen Gorillaz in concert but I do occasionally listen to their music. Good stuff! I’m finally going to start my Christmas shopping this weekend and I can’t wait to get my tree:)

We had a lot of snow here too. It’s been really bad getting out and about. Oscar and I slipped on the way to school yesterday morning so we’re both covered in bruises now!! Eek

Our shower has been broken for months… your post has reminded me we have to get it sorted! x
Oh wow I bet seeing the Gorillaz was an interesting experience, so different from any other sort of gig.
I have to admit I take most of my presents to my parents as we just don’t have the room here.
