Gift Guide For The Man Who Has Everything – Christmas 2021

Personalised maltesers

AD- Items in this gift guide have been provided in exchange for inclusion but all thoughts and opinions are my own

It’s officially two months until Christmas Day, how did that happen?! I’m back with the second of my gift guide series and this time it’s for the man who has everything. I tend to find men are pretty tricky to buy for, especially my dad where it feels like I buy the same thing every single year. If you’re in a similar position to me here are a few ideas for the man who has everything.

Chocolates and sweets are always a good option when it comes to gifts for men. Or in fact a good option for everyone. And what’s better than chocolate? Personalised chocolate! Prezzybox have some personalised boxes of chocolates including Luke’s favourites maltesers* (£9.99). You can choose one of four messages to go on the box, and the name to go alongside it. Luke has already claimed this and has started to make his way through it. It has his name on it so I can’t complain can I?!

Superhero cocktails

Experience presents

I always find experience gifts a great one for guys, especially as it generally means you get to join them for an activity. I’ve bought loads for both my dad and Luke in the past and we’ve done shows, gin tasting, archery and so much more. And Buyagift are a great place to look for experience gifts.

The experience I wanted to shout about today is the Hero cocktail experience for two at Superheroes bar* (£72). This experience hasn’t been open for long but it’s a a great thing for any comic book or superhero fan. You’ll get a cape and mask and enter into a real-life comic book where you get a welcome drink and two cocktails that you brew yourself. This experience reminds me a bit of The Cauldron Potion Bar themed like Harry Potter or the Breaking Bad experience. So it’s not just a cocktail night it’s a true experience.

There are loads more experiences you can book for him including driving experiences, dinners out, golfing experience, flying experiences and so much more. The next thing I want to book for me and Luke is the Silverstone Interactive Museum Experience because both of us love F1.

Bear socks

It wouldn’t be Christmas (or a gift guide) without socks

Socks might seem like a boring gift to give but I know my dad and brother would be disappointed if they didn’t get any. This three pack* (£30) from Absolutely Bear are a very cute choice. A far cry from boring socks!

These socks are made from 100% organic certified cotton and that make them both more sustainable and incredibly soft. Organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides, using methods that have a low impact on the environment. The trio of socks have three designs which are fun in style but they’re still simple enough for everyday use.

Alpaca socks

Treat your feet to a bit of luxury

These socks aren’t your everyday pair of socks, they’re made from Alpaca and have been made with a cushion sole to give extra protection when worn with boots. So perfect for the colder months when we want to keep our feet warm. The Alpacha Cushion Sole Boot Socks* (£16) are super durable and comfortable on the feet. And they’re also breathable so your feet won’t get too hot and sweaty wearing them. These socks come in a variety of colours and are suitable for anyone, not just men as you can get them in three different sizes.

They’ve been created by Paul James who are a British manufacturer of knitwear specialising in natural knitwear. They create their own knitwear and it’s far more affordable as they’ve cut out the middle man and pass savings directly to their customers.

Conker gins

A gift guide for him wouldn’t be complete without a tipple

Conker is Dorset’s first gin distillery, set up in April 2015. The company handcrafts its spirits into small batches to ensure no corners are cut in the craft processes, ingredients and end quality. The gin embodies the spirit of Dorset with New Forest Spring Water, British wheat spirit and a range of botanicals found across the Dorset coast and New Forest. The set comes with four little bottles so there’s a chance to try a few different flavours.

You get one traditional dry gin which is their take on the classic London dry but a bit fresher. I’m not usually a fan of dry gins but this one felt a bit lighter and fresher than normal. Next up is a Navy Strength Gin which is 57% so a nice strong gin. Luke loves a strong gin and he really enjoyed this one, but again it wasn’t too dry. The third bottle you get is a Port Barrel Aged Gin which is dry gin rested for 8 weeks in used Port barrels from Portugal. Not only does this give the gin a hint of colour, but it also gives it a bit of warmth in flavour. And finally is something I’ve never seen before, a Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur which is made from grade 1 forest grown coffee, a bit of demerara sugar and distilled British wheat spirit. You can drink this on it’s own or with tonic.

These are some great suggestions. I always go for experiences when I choose my boyfriend’s Christmas gift. He indeed does seem to have everything, and he always loves the experiences I choose for his gift.

I always end up asking my husband what he wants as he’s so tricky to buy for. Love the gin selection pack idea.

You’ve featured some great gifts here, Rhian. I think Nathan would love the socks (and the tipple). He can be impossible to buy for at times as he just buys whatever he wants when he wants it

These are some great suggestions and it would not be Christmas without a pair of socks as a pressie right?! I love Conker gin so I’m going to have to look at that one a bit more closely!
