Brushing and flossing can help take care of your teeth just fine, but your gums need a little care as well. Gum disease affects a lot of people. The above-mentioned methods of cleaning do help to prevent it as well, but you should also consider using mouthwash that is designed specifically to prevent gum disease. If gum disease progresses, it can eventually lead to tooth loss as well as a host of other oral health problems. So it’s worth taking seriously ASAP.
