AD- Items in this gift guide have been provided in exchange for inclusion but all thoughts and opinions are my own
We’re another week closer to Christmas, and another week into my gift guides. We’re already on week four of these guides and I have no idea where the time has gone.
This time its gifts for the women in your life. It could be your work wife, your mum, or your best friend. And there’s nothing to say these items are exclusively for women if you know someone else in your life that would love these items.
If you’re planning to propose to the woman (or man) you love this Christmas there are plenty of engagement rings, moissanite bridal sets, and high end jewelry you can choose from.
A few weeks back I included some socks from Paul James in my guide and I’m back with another luxurious piece to showcase. If you didn’t know Paul James are a British manufacturer of knitwear specialising in natural knitwear. They create their own knitwear and it’s far more affordable as they’ve cut out the middle man and pass savings directly to their customers.
This Chunky 100% Merino Wool Wide Rib Scarf* (£45) is the ultimate wintertime luxury and it comes in loads of different colours. You can’t beat a good scarf for the colder weather and this one is super soft thanks to the merino wool. It’s also super cosy because merino wool is naturally thermoregulating and responsive to your body temperature. So it won’t get you too warm and hot under the collar which is something I’m massively grateful for. Sometimes you layer up so much that when you start walking around outside you get so warm. But not with this scarf. The scarf is thick so it will hold its shape really well while keeping you feeling snug and warm when the cold weather bites.
I don’t know about you all but if I’m working from home and I have no plans to go out I like to dress for pure comfort. Now that doesn’t mean PJ’s or a dressing gown. But it does mean a t-shirt to look presentable in video calls, but then the comfiest joggers I can find. And these Recharge Odyssey Joggers* (£30) from Love Leggings are my current go-to’s. Having stayed inside for so long over the past year I’ve realised that being comfortable is so important.
I’ve spoken about Love Leggings before and I have to talk about their sizings again. These joggers go all the way up to a size 28 and come in regular, tall, and petite so they’re inclusive of so many different shapes and sizes. One thing I hate is when I fall in love with clothing items and then realise that they won’t go up to my size (which happens pretty regularly). I’ve been wearing these really regularly and they’re lightweight but they’re still super warm and cosy. Plus they’re super soft and made with breathable fabric. So if you’re looking for some practical clothing for a woman that works from home a lot then these are what you need.
Isn’t this Christmas Winnie the Pooh* (£19.95) so adorable?! If you know a Disney fan then this would make a great present and something that they can bring out and display every Christmas as part of their decorations. Although if it was me he’d probably go in my cabinet and stay there all year round.
The classic cute Pooh Bear smiling with his face in his hands has gotten festive with his Santa hat. The piece is crafted in cast stone and you can see the slight texture to the ornament which looks really nice.
Would you rather get someone a fun experience that you can do with them as opposed to a gift?! Red Letter Days have go many treats you can pick from and what could be better than Brunch with bottomless gin cocktails at Burger Bites* (£79 for two). I’m a massive fan of afternoon tea and all of the ladies in my life are as well, but sometimes they can get a bit samey. But this brunch throws the traditional sandwiches and scones out and instead you get two mini burgers that you can choose yourself alongside cupcakes and cakes. And if that wasn’t enough there are bottomless gin cocktails. I can not think of anything better, and I can’t wait to try this one out.
If Burger Bites isn’t your thing there’s so much more to choose from including traditional afternoon teas, dinners out, theatre tickets, adrenaline junkie experiences and so much more.
Most of us have destroyed our hands over the past 18 months with all of that washing and hand sanitiser, and that’s not going anywhere. But this hand love set* (£20) from SEAMS will give them some well-deserved TLC. The set comes with the brand’s signature couturiers hand cream, a hand sanitiser, and cushioned nail file and it comes presented in a cotton canvas bag.
The hand cream is a beautiful texture absorbing instantly into the skin and hydrating both the skin and nails. And it was actually created for seamstresses originally to help mend and moisturise their dry, pinpricked hands without leaving grease marks on the fabric. So that’s where the brand got its name from! And if it’s good enough for them it’s good enough for me.
I’m a huge fan of gifting advent calendars as it’s a gift you can enjoy all month long. And this Merry Mischief Puzzle Advent Calendar* (£35) is a great option. My nan and auntie absolutely love a little puzzle so I’ve gifted this to them to enjoy throughout December and I know it will bring a little smile to their faces every day.
Behind each of the 24 doors, there are 22 festive puzzles in shapes like snowmen and stockings, and there’s also puzzle glue and ribbon so you can make your own decorations. I love the idea that you can make a puzzle each day, glue it together and then hang it on the tree. The calendar is beautifully illustrated by Jess Bretherton in a striking blue box with gold foiling.
If you’re looking for a month-long gift or just something to help countdown to the big day then look no further!
