Three Treats To Celebrate Father’s Day 2023

Personalised parker pen

It feels so strange that I’m writing a post talking about Father’s Day as that means it’s almost June. The days are disappearing in the blink of an eye, although I appreciate the sunshine. Going outside without a jacket on, or even without a pair of leggings on has been beautiful.

Whether you’re buying for your dad, a father figure, or your partner from your pets this Father’s Day here are three treats to make anybody smile.

Everything is better with personalisation

Whether he works an office job or just loves to do a crossword, a personalised pen is a great gift option. This Parker pen* (£19.99) from Ryman can be engraved with the recipient’s name or a funny slogan with a maximum of 15 characters.

The beautiful stainless steel and blue pen come in a box to make it easy to wrap up. And it’s a dream to write with. It has a good weight in the hand and the medium tip glides across the page.

The pen is half-price at the point of writing this post, so head over now to check it out.

Tracklements

Father’s Day wouldn’t be complete without something edible

We’re massive fans of Tracklements in our house and my dad has been the lucky recipient of goodies of theirs in the past. This bundle includes some of the staple products from the brand including our favourite the sweet mustard ketchup. When we went away for my dad’s birthday a few months ago, the family went through a whole bottle of this during one BBQ. So we have about three bottles of it in our cupboard at the moment.

My dad loves anything with chilli in it so the chilli mustard, chilli jam and tomato & chilli chutney will go down a treat. You can choose to buy a pre-made bundle or choose the items you think the recipient would love the best. The next on my hit list is the caramelised onion chutney as I bet it would taste amazing with cheese on toast!

Milk pan

For the man who loves to cook

Sometimes you just need a super practical item as a gift, and this blue pro non-stick milk pan* (£19.99) is just that.  I don’t know about you but we have loads of big pots and pans for cooking, but sometimes you need a smaller one to heat up a sauce or make some stock. The handy lip makes pouring liquids out so much easier.

This 16cm pan is from the blue pro collection so it’s non-stick and has a 5-layer construction so it allows heat to conduct faster, and retains heat for longer. It can be used on all types of hobs including induction and can go into the oven up to 220°C.

What’s your go-to Father’s Day gift?
