On Tuesday me and my other half headed into London to see John Legend at the O2 Arena and it was such an incredible evening. His voice is just perfect and the emotions were high for such a beautiful set.
Thursday saw me and my best friend return to Waterloo Vaults to experience the Adventures in Wonderland interactive theatre which was so much fun. I got split up from my friend, entered into the high class of the hearts and joined a Jamaholics group. Everything about the event was a bit crazy as I’d expect and it was so much fun.
Friday I had a relaxing evening in which included watching Ru Paul, tidying my flat and having a face mask.
On Saturday I ran a few errands including visiting my nan and then headed to my other halves house to relax indoors, watch some movies and just chill out.
On Sunday we made the fatal mistake of heading to Ikea (never again at the weekend!) but we did buy what we needed and put up some shelves in my other halves bedroom.
Five Great Things To Happen
I’ve been pretty reserved with my spending over the past week as I am trying to be good and get into the habit of saving more.
I ordered my Sally comic con costume and it came and thankfully fit on the first order. I am so excited to get my costume more complete and have now ordered some tights.
I have been looking for the right kind of storage box for my bathroom and thankfully I found just what I needed in Ikea (alongside a load of things which I didn’t need).
For our trip to Italy, me and my other half booked our trip to Pompeii and Naples and I am so excited. Pompeii is somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for ages and knowing I’ll be heading there soon makes me very happy.
I got a really amazing blog opportunity through and I am hoping that it’s not just too good to be true.
Five Things Which Sucked
I had hoped to have an early night on Friday but ended up getting distracted watching YouTube videos so I wasn’t as refreshed as I’d have liked.
I didn’t make it to the gym at all last week and I am so annoyed at myself for this as I know I need to go more
I’ve been meaning to put some bits up on the wall of my spare bedroom for ages but they’re still just sat in a pile on the floor. This week I will get them up.
I printed some photos a few weeks ago to sort out in some frames but they’re still sat in my flat with nothing done to them. I will sort them!
I found a few bits on Asos which I fell in love with but they were out of stock of my size. It’s probably the world telling me not to spend money but it was a shame.
Five Things To Do Next Week
Sort out my review and images from the Jaret Reddick and Lounge Kittens show
Once my face paint arrives do my first attempt at Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas makeup ready for Comic-Con prep
Start doing more prep for October posts ahead of my Christmas gift guides
Take some more blog images and get a few posts scheduled up which have been written
Try out some of my new Lush products and have a relaxing bath this week
I’m so jealous of the pompeii trip that you’ve got booked would be amazing to visit. Don’t beat yourself up about the gym, just try and make some time this week x
I keep wanting to do the Alice in Wonderland experience at the Vault but unfortunately I didn’t have the budget for it this year. It sounds like a fantastic thing to do in London.
If I get distracted by a couple of YouTube videos I generally spiral into watching several more without even noticing and suddenly it’s past my bedtime! Looking forward to hearing about your blog opportunity!
You had a very productive week in my opinion. I wouldn’t concentrate on what sucked because it shadows all the great things that you accomplished and did. I look forward to hearing more and congratulations on a blog opportunity!
I am sending positive vibes for that amazing blog opportunity and hope to read about it soon, Seeing John Legend must have been exciting, I love his voice.
You’ll love Pompeii, it’s amazing – so crazy to think it was entirely encased in lava. And you HAVE to stuff your face in Napoli the birthplace of pizza! x
Wonderland sounds amazing! I can’t wait to see your finished Sally look, it’s such a great idea for it. I’m loving Ru Paul at the moment too and keep binge watching the older Drag Race episodes.
