Black Friday Weekend Bicester Village Haul

Bicester Cosmetics Haul 2

Bicester Village has been on my to-visit list for a long time as the number of amazing stores they have just sounded so good but I didn’t want to go when I didn’t have the money to spend as I have very little self control when it comes to bargains (as you’ll see from below!) So when I had a nice little payment come in just before Black Friday weekend I knew it was time to venture to the outlet centre.

I was heading there on a Sunday and online it said that some stores opened at 11.30am  and the rest opened at 12pm so we arrived around 11am thinking we’d grab breakfast then shop, but as it was Black Friday Weekend everywhere was already open. Thankfully we’d both had a snack so weren’t too hungry and we decided to just go straight in do our shopping and get out as early as possible as it was pretty manic.

I know places like Bicester Village are likely to always be busy but as all stores had extra money off from 10-30% for Black Friday weekend it was a little crazy with queues to a lot of stores. And inside a lot of them it was quite hard to walk around, especially when you had a handful of bags.

Bicester Glamglow

Black Friday at Bicester Village

One of the first places I headed was The Cosmetics Company which have a whole host of brands inside. I didn’t need any beauty/ skincare items but when there’s money off RRP I knew I had to have a look. I was so excited to see Glamglow products in there as I’m a huge fan and the Glowstarter Set is something I had wanted to grab when I was in New York earlier this year but they didn’t have it. There are three liquid highlighting shades and this retails at £20 and I picked it up for £13.50 after the discount which I was very happy about.

The next stop was Clinique as I am a huge fan of the brand. They had some massive pots of the Moisture Surge cream which I was really tempted by but I decided to hold off until I actually need some. I did pick up the Clarifying Lotion 2 as I wanted to try something new and this seemed like a good everyday product. I have been using an everyone liquid cleanser/ toner to sweep anyway any makeup I missed off and do a light exfoliation of the skin so this seems like a good one to try. It’s usually £18 and I paid about £12 for this so another bargain.

Another brand I love is Origins so I did pick up one of their Flower Fusion sheet masks as I’ve tried a few before and they’ve been really nice plus they retail at £6 and I got this for about £4.

Bicester Jo Malone 2

Higher end cosmetics

I’m going to be honest I wasn’t expecting to see Jo Malone in an outlet store, least of all any of their Christmas collection. This Orange Bitters cologne seems to have only come out this year as previously it was just a candle scent and I was so excited to see this in store (and in stock!) Jo Malone never seems to go on offer so I made a beeline and picked up this which is usually £96 and I paid about £63 after the additional 10% off which I think is phenomenal.

It’s such an Autumnal/ Wintery scent and I’m so happy to have something which is really different from what I have already, plus I am a huge fan of orange and mandarin scents. This is definitely something I’ll be looking for when I make my next trip.

Bicester Neom Stuff

Neom at Bicester Village

I headed to NEOM right at the start of my trip as they’re a brand I’ve been looking to try for a while and I wanted to test out some of their scents. They had some really great value box sets in store such as this set which was down to £38 from about £64 which is crazy as the perfume is selling online for £49 on it’s own. It features the Energy Burst Eau De Parfum and the matching Hand Balm in the same scent.

Energize is the right word to use as it’s quite punchy and full of lots of scents to refresh and energize you like Grapefruit, Lemon and Rosemary which I absolutely love.  I don’t think this is going to ever be an everyday perfume but for those days when you might be feeling tired or need an energy boost this would be a good choice. This has actually been on my wishlist for a whole so I’m really happy to have gotten my hands on it.

Bicetser Neom Diffuser

The other box set I bought from Neom was the Sensuous Reed Diffuser and refill set which was again £38. The Reed Diffuser on it’s own without the refill sells online for this price so another bargain which means it should last a lot longer for me. This is much more of a calmer scent than the other Neom items I got as it’s a scent to calm and relax you which is what I love having around the house, especially in the bedroom when you want to be more relaxed before bed.

The scent pay off in this is really nice and quite strong without being overpowering which I appreciate. Hopefully with the refill I can get this to last a long time!

Bicester Rituals

Rituals at Bicester Village

The final beauty/ skincare stop was at Rituals as I needed to check out the Happy Buddha collection which is my absolute favourite. We picked up some more reeds as these are some of our favourites and the large one was only £15.30. Then I picked up a shower scrub for £7 as I’ve never tried the scrubs only the foaming shower gels and I’m intrigued to see how grainy the scrub is. I’m pretty bad with exfoliating my skin so anything I can find to help with that like shower gels with it in are going to be great when it comes to keeping my skin nice and healthy.

The final Rituals item was a bit of a last minute pick up at the till but it’s the Car Perfume which I’d never seen before. The perfume comes in a wooden holder which you can reuse with refills and the scents last 6-8 weeks activated by the air flow from your car’s fan. I haven’t yet put this in my car but if it means it’s going to smell of the Happy Buddha I can’t wait! This was just £10.50.

Bicester Ted Baker

Ted Baker at Bicester Village

One of the main reasons for going to Bicester Village was that I wanted a new Ted Baker bag. Now to cut a long story short I knew which one I wanted and they ended up not having it. But I did pick up another bag while I was there as I was on the hunt for a rose gold bag. One which had enough room for my evening essentials as at the moment I only have ones with silver hardware. These Camera bags are such a good size for your purse, phone, hairbrush and lipstick without being too small.

I can’t find this exact one online but this one retails at £129 and I paid £63.20. Again this was a massive discount and I absolutely love it. The design of the leather is so nice, it has a really good strap and the rose-gold hardwear is beautiful. I am so happy with my purchase.

Bicester Ted Baker Bag

The other thing I picked up from Ted Baker was this 3 pack of socks as I love their socks and you can’t get them in very many places. A three pack retails at £25 which may seem like a lot for socks but they’re such good quality, last well and wash really well that I don’t mind paying. Although I did only pay £12.80 for it.

This 3 set are the robot designs which appears on one pair of the socks with the trademark Ted Baker bow appearing on another set, and the final ones are quite plain with a pinky rose edge to them which is so cute. It’s quite nice to have some which aren’t all over print as although I love the Cat collection I own they can be hard to wear with some items.

Bicester Monica Vinader Ring

Monica Vinader at Bicester Village

My final purchase was a Monica Vinader Ring which you can see above, although the photo 100% does not do it justice. I have the Linear Stone Ring set in Rose Gold with the Amazonite Stone which you can see in all it’s glory online here. The ring retails at £115 but with all of the discounts I paid £62.10 which is absolutely crazy as it’s almost 50% cheaper.

I’ve loved Monica Vinader jewellery ever since spotting it in the airport when we went to New York earlier this year but I yet to grab anything, although I do have another ring of hers on my Christmas wishlist *fingers crossed*. This ring is absolutely beautiful as it has a nice chunky band and the stone is absolutely stunning in a pale turquoise blue colour with unique patterning all over it.

My manager at work actually has the exact same ring and I saw her wearing it for a week or so before and admired it but never knew where it was from so as soon as I spotted it in the cabinet I knew it needed to come home with me.
