Can you believe that on Sunday it’s December?! It feels like it was only September a few minutes ago and now I’m wrapping up my Christmas presents. I am feeling pretty prepared this year and am getting into the festive spirit, watching all the movies and blasting Michael Buble on full blast. For me though one of the best things about this time of the year is the food. There’s so much great food from all the savoury buffet nibbles to the cakes and sweets. And even though I’m trying to be good I know I’ll end up indulging quite a bit.

    I am most looking forward to visiting family & friends. We have a job which requires us to work all day, every day which makes it difficult for us to have a social life. We will be shutting down for 2 days this Christmas so its going to be nice to actually spend some quality time with our friends & family.

    I always have my family come and stay for Christmas, I usually cook for at least sixteen ! They all land on Christmas Eve and we go to the Pantomime in the evening. The walk home from that , particularly if it is snowing is always magical as we walk through the park which is all lit up with fairy lights 🙂
