*This is a collaborative post but all opinions on Mayraki are my own

I’m trying to take better care of myself in general. I’ve upped my skincare game, I’m in a better exercise routine, and working on my hair has been my latest project. So when I was contacted by Mayraki to see if I wanted to try out some of their haircare products it seemed liked the perfect timing.

I’ve always had hair that got greasy quickly. I made the mistake of washing my hair every single day for a lot of years and I’m slowly trying to combat that. Now I wash it every other day and occassionally I can stretch out a third day. But I do find that I have scalp issues where build up goes and it causes it to be itchy and therefore flaky. So I enjoy trying out new haircare to see if it can help with any of my hair issues.

Who are Mayraki?

Mayraki is a haircare company founded by a group of hair professionals, herbalists, and chemists. And their mission is to provide solutions to endless hair and scalp problems experienced by many. Their products are designed to solve some of these problems and improve the hairs overall condition without being too expensive or damaging the environment.

The brand have spent years on scientific research and combined with the purest organic ingredients and the latest haircare tehnology have a huge range of hair products. Their products can help with dandruff, itchy scalp, hair loss, gray/ white hair, split ends and damaged/ frizzy hair.

Switching to paraben-free, sulfate-free and silicone-free products

I’d heard the words thrown around and seen products which said they were free of parabens, sulfate or silicone. But I didn’t really know how it impacted my hair. Mayraki products are free from all three things and here’s what I learnt about why you shouldn’t use them:

Mayraki use a combination of the latest hair care science and technology with natural ingredients. So you get the good properties of parabens, supfate and silicone without the bad.

Mayraki’s shampoo and repairing treatment

The first product I tried from the brand was the Ultra-repairing & Weightless moisture shampoo. The shampoo contains loads of natural ingredients such as aloe, gingko biloba and canarium album leaf extract to give both a cleansing and moisturising anti-dandruff shampoo. It’s a great shampoo for regular washing to thoroughly cleanse buildup and give weightless hair without stripping any moisture out.

Mayraki anti dandruff shampoo

As I mentioned above I do suffer with dandruff once I’ve hit a day or so after washing. But in the few weeks I’ve been trying this out I’ve seen a noticeable reduction in dandruff. Unlike other shampoo’s I have used before as this was so lightweight I felt it washed out of my hair really easily. And for me having such long, thick hair I sometimes think I end up with product that clings to my scalp. But this washed out like a dream and my hair felt full of moisture even after blow drying.

Next up was the Silky Smooth Proactive Hair Repairing Treatment. If your hair is quite damaged you can use it as a pre-shampoo treatment. But I used mine as an after-shampoo treatment and it was like the the most luxurious hair mask you can imagine. You simply spread it through the hair, leave for 20-30 minutes then rinse and style as normal. The first thing I noticed was my hair had no frizz to it, it was super smooth. And it was so silky soft and nourished. A great product for anyone who’s hair needs a bit of TLC.

One thing I also have to say about this pair is the great packaging. As they’re pump top bottles you don’t even have to pick up the bottle to open it. So it’s super practical to use

Mayraki anti hairless and growth shampoo kit

Hair Growth and Anti Hairloss Shampoo

I feel very lucky that I’ve not yet gone through a point where I’ve experienced hairloss or a lack of growth. But Mayraki do a Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Shampoo Kit for those who do. An International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery survey has said that by age 40, approximately 40% of women suffer from hairloss. Now hairloss can be caused by any number of things from your hormones or genes to stress and poor nutrition.

The hair growth and hairloss kit comes with a Scalp Purigying Anti-Aging Scalp Cleanser that you lather and massage into the scalp then wash out. Then it also comes with an Anti Harloss & Hair Growth Shampoo that you follow up with. By thoroughly cleansing the hair and scalp of impurities you can help promote hair growth. And all of the natural ingredients within it such as castor oil, almond oil, and Artemisia argyi extract boost hair regrowth, prevent hair fall and strengthen the hair strands.

I love the sound of these products, like you I have heard all the words but never really understood what they do to the hair. I need to try these for myself and feel they would benefit my daughter as well

I’m guilty of doing exactly the same as you, I wash my hair every single morning and whilst I know it’s not good, I can’t stand the greasiness if I don’t! I really need to try out some new products to see if that helps, these products sound really effective.
