Every Christmas I always know I’ll get at least one or two beauty items, either a bag full of Lush products or the latest eyeshadow palette which came out and I just couldn’t justify spending £40 on out of my own pocket.
I think beauty items are great as there are tools like mirrors, brushes, and storage, but also the practical stuff from face masks and skincare to lipsticks and makeup items.
Here are some great beauty items you could pick up as presents this Christmas.
Disney themed items are killing it this Christmas and the Minnie Mouse sheet mask* and Head Band* from Mad Beauty are absolutely perfect. I always like to use headband when I put on a face mask to protect my hair and make sure nothing gets in there so this band is absolutely perfect as it’s a good thickness to cover my hairline but also has the right amount of elasticity to stay on my head.
Ever since I saw these sheet masks I became obsessed and I think they are amazing, who doesn’t want to look like Minnie Mouse when sporting a sheet mask? The mask is only £3.50 which is a good price for a sheet mask and it isn’t just a novelty item it has lots of hydration and my skin felt plumped and refreshed after using it.
*sidenote* how cute is the robin lip gloss in the photo?!
I’m sure most of us dream of being permanently hair free what with waxing, shaving and paying salons to blitz our hairs it can be quite tough but there’s an easy at home solution to this problem. Now £315 might seem like a lot of money but think about how much you spend on your monthly wax, or how much you spend going to get laser treatment in a salon then you’ll realize that this isn’t a lot at all.
Tria Beauty* provides the first and only clinically-proven laser which you can use at home which means you know you’re going to get the right treatment. The hair removal laser 4X uses the same diode laser technology preferred by dermatologists to target and permanently disable hair follicles. So this isn’t a temporary measure, this is designed for permanent results. This is therefore proven to be more effective for permanent results than IPL treatment as the later is only for hair reduction.
Having had IPL and Soprano laser done at a salon myself I know how tough it can be booking in appointments and shelling out a sum of money for 6 treatments but having the option to do it at home, myself, whenever I want is a dream come true.
Having the right mirror to do your makeup in is so important and lighting is everything so at this time of year especially we all need that extra help to shed light on us. This Hamswan makeup mirror* is perfect for doing just that as it has LED lights around the middle of the central mirror which for such small bulbs shed an awesome lot of light. The lights can be powered by either 4 x AAA batteries or via USB depending on where you’re going to use it which is so helpful as the last thing you want is trailing wires where you don’t need them.
As the mirror opens up alongside the larger flat mirror in the middle there’s a 2X and 3X magnification spot design which I find really helpful during my skincare routine to look at problem areas but also for getting things like my eyeliner spot on.
Everyone loves to pamper themselves and having a nice relaxing bath is one of the ultimate relaxations. Caught up in the bright colours of bath bombs and bubble baths a lot of people forget about bath salts but these Dead Sea Bath Salts* are an easy way to transform your bath without spending £4.50 on a single Lush bath bomb. Just a handful of salts scattered into the water will help relax and calm you.
I have the Frankincense and Rose petal salts which is designed to calm your breathing and mind while also soothing your muscles. The first time I used these salts I was surprised at how much difference it made to my bath and I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep *oops*. You can buy the salts themselves from Boots to ensure your loved one (or you) have the best bathing experience you can.
There’s nothing better in my opinion than a good face mask, but why choose just one face mask when you can have a whole hamper full?! 7th Heaven have created a Basket Full of Goodies* which certainly lives up to it’s name with ten masks included within the wicker basket alongside a shower pom-pom and two bath bombs.
The choice is amazing from a Hot Chocolate Mask to a Cucumber Peel-off Mask for your face alongside a Papaya Hair Masque and a Fresh Feet Foot Sachet to keep your toes nice and smooth. If you’re looking for a gift for someone who really takes care of their skin then this is the gift.

I’ve seen these makeup-removing cleansing clothes about quite a bit and this beautiful pink version comes from Magnitone*. It might not look like much but the micro-fiber cleaning cloth removes makeup with just water, so no lotions and potions. The cloth is super-soft so even if you have sensitive skin it can work wonders.
For me, I do need products to properly cleanse my face but this cloth would be perfect for those minimal makeup days, the days when you would normally reach for a face wipe which then ends up in a landfill. No more as this cloth can be reused and rewashed about 1,000 times. But more importantly, it would be perfect for traveling especially when you’re hand luggage only as it’s one less liquid bottle to take. I went on a Trek America tour earlier this year where there wasn’t always access to a proper bathroom and this would have been perfect.
Why not couple up the cleansing cloth with some amazing Palmers Multi-Effect Perfecting Face Oil* designed to keep skin healthy, firm, and glowing and a Coola Peppermint and Vanilla lip balm* to keep the lips hydrated in the harshest of conditions.

I am a huge fan of all things 7th heaven! Their masks are sooo good! Also can’t believe how reasonably priced that mirror is!
I love the cleansing cloth as a gift. So many people, myself included, use wipes on occasion without even thinking of the impact and how long they take to break down in landfill. Encouraging people to do their bit for the environment with a gift is such a good idea.
