Christmas Gift Guide For Beauty Lovers | 2017

Every Christmas I always know I’ll get at least one or two beauty items, either a bag full of Lush products or the latest eyeshadow palette which came out and I just couldn’t justify spending £40 on out of my own pocket.

I think beauty items are great as there are tools like mirrors, brushes, and storage, but also the practical stuff from face masks and skincare to lipsticks and makeup items.

Here are some great beauty items you could pick up as presents this Christmas.

Minnie Mouse Sheet Mask and Head Band – £3.50 & £4.99

Disney themed items are killing it this Christmas and the Minnie Mouse sheet mask* and Head Band* from Mad Beauty are absolutely perfect. I always like to use headband when I put on a face mask to protect my hair and make sure nothing gets in there so this band is absolutely perfect as it’s a good thickness to cover my hairline but also has the right amount of elasticity to stay on my head.

Ever since I saw these sheet masks I became obsessed and I think they are amazing, who doesn’t want to look like Minnie Mouse when sporting a sheet mask? The mask is only £3.50 which is a good price for a sheet mask and it isn’t just a novelty item it has lots of hydration and my skin felt plumped and refreshed after using it.

Tria Beauty At Home Laser Hair Remover – £315

I’m sure most of us dream of being permanently hair free what with waxing, shaving and paying salons to blitz our hairs it can be quite tough but there’s an easy at home solution to this problem. It might not look like much but the micro-fiber cleaning cloth removes makeup with just water, so no lotions and potions. The cloth is super-soft so even if you have sensitive skin it can work wonders.

For me, I do need products to properly cleanse my face but this cloth would be perfect for those minimal makeup days, the days when you would normally reach for a face wipe which then ends up in a landfill. No more as this cloth can be reused and rewashed about 1,000 times. But more importantly, it would be perfect for traveling especially when you’re hand luggage only as it’s one less liquid bottle to take. I went on a Trek America tour earlier this year where there wasn’t always access to a proper bathroom and this would have been perfect.
