Stocking Filler Gift Guide 2017

Happy 2 weeks 3 days to Christmas to you all. Sorry if this figure panics any of you but it’s well and truly Christmas season and there’s no getting away from it so that’s why I am here with my gift guides to give you a little inspiration and show you some awesome gifts which you can order right now.

This week I’m showing you some stocking filler ideas so there are some cute little bits to add to your present list.

Christmas Star Wars Socks

Star Wars Slipper Socks– £10.99

You can not go wrong with a pair of slipper socks, especially when they are Star Wars themed like these beauties from the Sock Shop.*  I have always been a fan of Heat Holder socks as they are so warm and comfortable for during the colder months and they’re great if like me you’re just not a slipper person. I don’t know what it is but I don’t find them as practical when I’m wandering around my flat, but having laminate flooring I need something to keep them warm.

The great thing about Heat Holder socks is they actually have a tog rating like your duvet and these are 2.34 togs meaning they’re super snuggly. As they are slipper socks they have Star Wars grip pattern soles to stop you from slipping around on the floor and the Stormtrooper and Darth Vader images make them perfect for the Star Wars lover in your life.

Xmas Candle

Luxury Candle and Rose Gold Mirrored Tray – £28 and £6.95

I am a huge candle fan so I was over the moon to discover Chase and Wonder who do some lovely luxury scented candles. I was over the moon when I received The Library Luxury Scented Candle* as it’s unlike anything I have smelt before. Adorned with images of books across both the packaging and the candle votive itself the candle smells like an amazing old bookstore full of rich wood and amber. It has quite a strong smell even without burning and when burnt it fills the room.

The candles are hand poured to ensure that they’re the best quality possible and they only use eco soy and vegetable wax so there’s no worry about the black smoke you get from some cheaper candles. The size of it is fantastic and it has 50-60 hours of burn time which is great considering it’s not a bulky candle.

The perfect item to go with a good candle is this  Ornate Copper Mirrored Plate* which is perfect for sitting your candle or other ornaments on. The copper colour is beautiful and the mirrored service reflects the candles so well I might have to order a few of these to sit around my flat.

Christmas Photo Frame

Comic Balloon Photo Frame – £3

I love getting photo frames for friends and family and adding in a print which makes me laugh or smile and this Comic Balloon Photo Frame* is perfect for that as it has a slightly unusual shape and at just £3 it won’t break the bank.

Despite the price, it’s a good quality frame which is desk-standing and has a white plastic border in the shape of a comic book speech bubble. It fits a standard 6×4″ photo so snap up a few of these for some unique gifts.

Xmas Mad Beauty Stocking Fillers

Mad Beauty Gifts – From £2.99

I always think small beauty gifts make great stocking fillers especially when they’re super festive but also practical, because no one likes getting something which looks nice but can’t really be used. That’s where Mad Beauty come in with so many amazing gifts. I’ve hand-picked a few awesome little gifts which I think would make perfect stocking fillers. including these Christmas hand sanitizers* at just £2.99 each. One of the things which I love most about these are the super practical shape as they’re like a thick bank card so don’t take up a lot of room. There are three festive scents but the Spiced Apple is my absolute favourite as it smells really warm and festive, although the Sweet Marshmellow is fun and fresh.

Next up is a hand care kit*for £4.99 including a bottle of hand cream and a nail file which is in the same three fragrances as the hand sanitizers with their own colours and patterns on the packaging. At this time of year, I know my hands get a bit dry and my nails aren’t always in the best condition so these hand care kits are super practical.

Finally, you can’t beat these adorable lip glosses to add a little festivity to any woman’s stocking. The Gingerman lip gloss* is my favourite as I have an obsession with gingerbread and this has a light vanilla cookie scent, and you can also buy this in a Mr. and Mrs. Gingerbread lip duo for £5.99. There’s also an adorable Snowman and Robin Duo* giving you both a strawberry and vanilla option, but they can also be bought individually.

Xmas Zippo Candle Lighter

Zippo Candle Lighter

Now I don’t know about you but I always have candles on in my flat and while a boring plain candle lighter does the job this zippo* one is so much prettier. A candle lighter might not seem like an obvious present idea to some people but for the candle loving person in your life it’s definitely a great idea.

I don’t think I could be without mine now as a standard lighter is so hard to use on certain candles and the bulky plastic ones from supermarkets just don’t have the same aesthetics.

Xmas Colouring Cards

Colouring Cards and Pencils – From £4.99

Adult’s colouring was a huge thing a few years back and it still remains a great way to relax and calm down when life is so hectic. Colouring in a book for yourself is one thing but you can combine the relaxing colouring with making some beautiful cards which you can then send out to your friends and family such as these sets from Spectrum Noir*.

The cards themselves are a really decent thickness and made of lovely card so once coloured they’d make a great ‘Thank You’ or ‘Thinking Of You’ style card and as some of the patterns are quite intricate you could get some beautiful bright colour combinations to really make them stand out.

You can nab everything you need from packs of cards, other colouring materials and all the pencils and pens your hearts desire from Crafters Companion.

Itty Bittys

Itty’s Bitty’s – £5.99

These Itty Bitty characters from Hallmark* are just adorable and the perfect gift for any child, or just someone who’s a child at heart. Both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have donned their festive attire in celebration of Christmas and you can’t help but smile whenever you see them.

They’re aptly named Santa Mickey and Minnie Claus and you can grab your pair right here.

Xmas Milk and Co Goodies

Milk & More Sweet Treats – From £2.99

Now there’s nothing better to bulk out a gift than by adding some sweet treats and Milk & More have some fantastic options from Cartwright and Butler. Milk & More are an online grocery and milk delivery store so you could easily do your weekly shop and buy some Christmas presents at the same time.

To start off with are these lovely Original Toffee’s* (£2.99) which are soft enough to bite into without melting too quickly in your mouth. You don’t know how much self-restraint I had to have to not eat this entire box while I was taking photos. Next up is this cute glass jar of Rhubard and Custard Boiled Sweets* (£4.29) which I wasn’t expecting to love as I didn’t think the flavour combination would be for me but they were so creamy and a great flavour, plus you could easily use the jar again. Finally, we have these Salted Caramel Biscuits* (£6.29) which come in the most beautiful mint green tin but warning the biscuits are very moreish.

Xmas Dreamcatcher Earrings

Dreamcatcher Earrings – £7.55

I’ve featured Jewellery Box on my blog before but these dreamcatcher earrings* were too cute to not include in the stocking fillers guide as they’re such a good price. They’re made in sterling silver and feature a handing feather from the main dreamcatcher which is absolutely adorable alongside a small red stone in the middle of the dreamcatcher itself.

I’ve said it time and time again Jewellery Box are amazing quality considering the price, for something silver like this I’d worry about them feeling really thin and flimsy but this is not the case and they’re sure to withstand general day to day wear for a long time.

Xmas Socks

Personalised Prosecco Socks – £12.99

I’m sure we all know a prosecco lover, for me it’s my mum so prosecco themed gifts always make an appearance. These prosecco socks* are the perfect stocking filler as they have a funny quote on them and you can personalise them with the recipient’s name. Mine say ‘Ho! Ho! Ho! Bring Sue Her Prosecco’ which I know my mum will love. You can get the socks in both women’s and men’s sizes so regardless of who the prosecco lover is they can have their own socks.

The socks themselves are really soft and have nice cuffed tops so they’re super comfortable to wear.

Retro Sweets

Retro Sweets

Everyone loves a little bit of nostalgia and there’s nothing that does that more than these retro sweets from Tangerine Confectionery*. I don’t know about you guys but Dip Dab’s and whams were always the types of sweets I’d go for when buying from the Tuck Shop at the Youth Club night I’d go to as a kid.

I know my dad is a huge fan of Black Jack’s and Fruit Salads so he’d love to get some of these, especially because I don’t think he knows they’re still made. You can buy these sweets in most major supermarkets so make sure you stock up.

pretty gifted personalised gift wrap

Personalised Gift Wrap

The final thing I want to talk about is this awesome wrapping paper from Pretty Gifted* which is fully customizable. You’ll probably know by now that I am hugely into anything you can personalise so this stuff is amazing.

You can choose absolutely everything from the paper colour, the writing colour, the writing size (I opted for narrow as some gifts were smaller) and you could choose symbols to add. I can’t tell you how happy I was when I opened the package and saw this beautiful paper. The paper itself is fantastic quality and thick enough to not tear and stick down well but not so thick that you can’t move it to wrap properly. As you can see I opted for rose gold lettering on a black background as I think it stands out so well.

The order process was so easy that I’d made my choices and placed the ordered in just a few minutes so make sure you grab some to make your presents even more special.
