Any regular readers to my blog may have wondered where my five things posts have disappeared to over the past few weeks. For almost 3 years I posted five things every single week (Sunday/ Monday) talking about what I’d done in the week behind and although I loved these posts I wanted a fresh start in 2019 and felt they were getting a little stale.
For this reason, I’ve decided to do monthly round-up posts talking about some of the places I’ve been, items I’ve bought, great and not so great things to happen in one place. It’s a nice way to reflect back on the month and it means I can just put in the totally awesome stuff as opposed to feeling like I need to fill at least five things every single week.

I’d love to try out an escape room with friends!
Oh wow it sounds like you have had a pretty busy January! I hope you had a lovely birthday? I would absolutely love to see Cirque De Soleil someday because everyone always says how amazing of a show it is!
Wow it seems like you had a pretty intense January! I love escape rooms.
Youāve had such a busy month! How do you manage to cram so much into one month? Amazing! Congratulations on your weight loss , I hope slimming world works for you!
Aw sounds like you had a fab month. always nice to catch up with a friend for a birthday dinner xx
Lots of good things going on, I’d love to see Cirque de Solei. I also found January a rubbish month fro Freelance work, I was grateful for my lower paid but regular gig. Mich x
I always wondered how you kept up with the 5 things post! You always seemed so busy š It looks like you had a great January and I’m already looking forward to seeing what you get up to this month!

Well you had a busy month, but it seems that you had a fabulous time.
I can’t believe we’re already into the second month of 2019! It’s gone so quickly – Christmas will be here again soon enough š The Avengers Station sounds cool – is it still on? I’d love to pay a visit x
Considering January can be considered a pretty rubbish month, you’ve done lots! And we have similar birthdays too – I’m the 16th of Jan! š I’m experiencing a similar experience with Slimming World right now – just cannot shift my Christmas gain, boo!
I love escape rooms, they are great fun. I’ve done a few with my husband and son but only managed to get out of one in the time. I’m hoping to see a show by Cirque De Soleil in Vegas, can’t wait!
Oh that shark looks amazing! I have never been in an escape room, but it sounds so adventurous!
Sounds like January was a good month. My husband always takes me for a steak dinner on my birthday. I did some decluttering as well. So sorry to hear about the passing of you friend.
I hope your February goes well and that the packing of your flat goes smoothly.
Someone had a great time. Thanks for taking us to the journey with you. Very nice post!
I have hit a slump in the freelancing world too. I was hoping that would have ended in December of 2018 but unfortunately, some of that slump was carried over onto the first month of this year. Hopefully we get to have more opportunities in the months to come.
Sounds like you have had a great month. But for me maybe Jan wasn’t good as I have been suffering like heck.
This just reminds me I really need to go to a Cirque Du Soliel. I would love to visit one soon. I hear they have one in Vegas. That looks great.
What a fun month! I’ve always wanted to Cirque de Soleil, but I have not yet. I am envious that you did. Sounds like so much fun!!
I’d been saying for years that I’d go so I just thought I needed to book it!
